Be good for me, princess
Apollo
I leaned back in the chair, tilting my head slightly as I looked at the file open in front of me. The study was so silent that even the faintest sound would’ve echoed. My fingers drummed lazily against the surface of the desk, a slow rhythm that did nothing to quiet the storm inside me.
My eyes dropped to the name printed on the first page.
Jackson Kim.
The photograph clipped to the corner stared back at me. He was the bastard who had dared put his hands on Grace. Even seeing his face on paper made my jaw tighten, and the anger I had been suppressing since last night crawled under my skin.
I held myself back for her last night.
If she hadn’t begged me to stop, if she hadn’t been trembling and clinging to me the way she did, I would have gone back to that bathroom and finished what I started. I would have ended every single one of them. But hurting them in front of her would have only terrified her. And scaring her was the one thing I refused to do.
They had chosen the wrong woman to drug, corner, and lay their filthy hands on. They had chosen the one woman they should have never even looked at
They had chosen my woman.
Without lifting my gaze, I spoke. “Report, Austin. What’s the result of what I asked?”
Austin, standing straight in front of me, didn’t hesitate. “I already took care of everyone involved, sir. Their families are facing consequences too. The ones directly responsible are in prison. I’ve spoken to the judge, he’ll ensure their sentencing is harsher and extended for what they did to Miss Grace.”
I frowned. I knew the judges would listen to me, they would do whatever I wanted; I had so many people in power wrapped around my hand. But his words didn’t satisfy me.
The punishment wasn’t enough for what they did to her.
“Make their lives in prison a living hell,” I said, still staring at the photograph. “I don’t care what you have to do. Don’t let them have a single moment of peace.”
((
Austin nodded immediately. “Yes, sir. I’ll arrange that.” He paused, then added as if remembering something, This morning I found out that Mr. Reed is also using all his connections to make sure they pay for what they did. Should I tell him that I’ll handle it, sir?”
My fingers tapping on the table stilled as I looked at him. My father had always been seen as a kind and forgiving man most of the time. He was nonchalant, and easygoing, if he had a percentage for how chill he was, it would be ninety–nine percent. But that missing one percent? That was his dangerous side.
People liked to paint me as the cold–hearted one, the man who wouldn’t flinch at hurting anyone who crossed him. But my father was colder, and more ruthless. When he was angry, he would stop at nothing to get revenge. Even if he died, he’d make sure the person who wronged him still suffered.
I shook my head. He was furious now, and when he was angry, there was no stopping him. Not that I wanted him to be stopped.
I ran a hand through my hair, exhaling slowly. Pain flared across my back as my fingers brushed the scratches

she’d left this morning. Long, red marks trailed down my skin, her nails dug into me when she lost control under my touch. She hadn’t even realized how hard she was clawing at me; she’d been too far gone, too lost in pleasure to think at all.
Instead of irritation, the memory made something dark and heated curl inside me. The sting of those scratches was satisfying, a physical reminder of how desperately she wanted me. She marked me everywhere.
I liked knowing she’d been overwhelmed. I liked knowing she could barely breathe without calling my name. I liked knowing she had surrendered to me completely
“You’re mine. You’re my man.”
Those words played in my mind again, claiming something inside me I didn’t even realize existed. They put me in a better mood instantly.
After I came inside her, her body trembled so violently she could barely move. The moment I dried her off and laid her on the bed, she fell asleep. Fuck… even after making her come so many times, I wanted more. I couldn’t control myself around her anymore.
“Sir.” Austin’s called.
I lifted my eyes from the file, raising an eyebrow at him.
“What is it?”
“There are rumors circulating about you and Miss Grace. Even though I used your connections to keep her face out of the media, most guests at the event saw her clearly. And the employees–well, they all know she was the one you carried out. It’s only a matter of time before someone exposes her identity.” He paused, then continued carefully, “Should I make a public statement saying it was a misunderstanding, that you were simply helping an employee?”
I stared at him.
“An employee?” My voice was calm, but Austin froze anyway. “Who said she is ‘just‘ an employee?”
His eyes widened. “W–what?”
“You seem to be misunderstanding something,” I said, leaning back in the chair. “Grace isn’t just an employee. And I don’t care what anyone thinks, or if the truth about my relationship with her becomes public.”
Austin blinked several times, his mouth slowly falling open as if he couldn’t comprehend what he just heard. He was looking at me like he was seeing a stranger.
“Should I make it public, then?” he asked.
I paused, thinking. The idea of the world knowing she was mine didn’t bother me, what bothered me was her, thrown into attention she didn’t ask for.
“No,” I said finally. “Not yet. Keep everything under control until it dies down. I don’t want her thrown into the spotlight without her consent.”
Austin exhaled shakily. “Understood, sir.”
Before he could say anything else, a soft knock came from the door. A soft voice followed. “Mr. Apollo….I mean, Apollo. Can I come in?”
I looked toward the door, then at Austin.

He immediately straightened. “I’ll be outside, sir.”
He walked to the door and opened it, and there she was.
Grace.
The moment her eyes landed on Austin, her face flushed a bright red. She looked shy, and embarrassed, probably, recalling what had happened in the car last night while Austin had been at the wheel.
Austin smiled politely. “Good morning, Miss Grace.”
She avoided his eyes. “Good morning, Austin,”
He gave a respectful nod. “I’ll be in the car when you’re ready.”
He walked down the hall, leaving the door open behind him. Grace muttered something under her breath, her eyes following him. When she turned and saw me watching, she froze.
I leaned back in the chair, as if I’d been waiting for her, my gaze tracing her body without shame. The white dress clung to her curves perfectly, accentuating every line. Her hair was slightly tousled from sleep, cheeks still flushed, lips soft and swollen. Even the faint bruise my mouth had left on her neck was visible against her skin.
My fingers twitched against the armrest.
How could she look even more breathtaking every time I saw her?
“Come here,” I said, my voice low but leaving no room for argument.
Her throat bobbed as she swallowed. The way she reacted, anyone would think I was about to pull her onto the desk and take her right there. And if I hadn’t forced myself to get a grip, that’s exactly what I would’ve done. But she needed rest. And I wasn’t in a rush. I would take my time with her thoroughly. I had all the time in the world.
She hesitated at the threshold, then stepped inside the study. As if every step was a negotiation with her own nerves. She stopped just short of where I wanted her.
I raised an eyebrow.
Her eyes flicked to mine, understanding instantly. She took
ther step closer until she stood right in front of me.
I let my gaze linger on her for a moment before reaching to the drawer beside me. I pulled out a black jewelry box, set it on my palm, and flipped it open.
A diamond necklace lay inside, catching the light.
She blinked, her eyes widening in surprise, her lips parting slightly.
To be honest, I was still surprised myself. I had never cared about anyone. But when I was in Paris and saw the necklace, the first thing that came to mind was how it would look around her neck, how the diamonds would settle against her skin. Before I could stop myself, I bought it.
I stood, my full height rising over her, and she stiffened slightly.
“What are you-”
I stepped closer, and her breath caught in her throat, her lashes dipping as if she was bracing for a kiss. But instead, I slipped behind her, gathering her hair with slow fingers and brushing it over her shoulder.
I lifted the necklace and let the cool metal skim along her neck before fastening it. My fingertips lingered on the

back of her throat, grazing lightly, feeling the way she shivered under my touch.
When I stepped back, she lifted her hand, touching the diamonds lightly.
“I can’t take this,” she whispered. “It looks expensive”
I slipped two fingers under her chin and tilted her face up.
“Be good for me, princess.” My thumb dragged slowly across her lower lip. “You’re mine. And when something is mine, I take care of it. I spoil it. I ruin it for anyone else. So don’t think twice about what I spend on you. All you have to do is take it, and enjoy every second.”
