Seeing that Nathan’s expression stayed cold, Justin hurried to reassure him. “Don’t worry, Mr. Clark. I’ll bring in a solid screenwriter and have the script rushed. We’ll fast–track the project and make sure we release before Brightstar Entertainment. Even if Chasing the Dream turns out amazing, we’ll have already taken over the market.”

“If you screw this up again, Gale Entertainment can kiss its number one spot in Benwig City goodbye,” Nathan said, glancing at Lexi before getting into his car.

“Go after Mr. Clark and smooth things over with him!” Justin said sternly to Lexi.

Watching Justin effortlessly switch from flattering Nathan to putting on a stern face with her, Lexi felt her disgust for him deepen.

To him, she was nothing but a tool to please Nathan, just to secure Gale Entertainment’s number one spot in Benwig City.

And someday, he’d hand Gale Entertainment over to his illegitimate son.

Thinking of this, she suppressed her disgust, pushed up her sunglasses, and got into Nathan’s car.

After Nathan and his assistant got in the car, Justin finally let out a breath of relief. He turned to Marty and said, “Marty, you heard Mr. Clark loud and clear. Double pay doesn’t come easy. I’m counting on you to find a solid screenwriter and crank out a script similar to Chasing the Dream. We have to beat Brightstar Entertainment to the punch!”

Marty nodded, full of confidence. “Relax, Mr. Lowe, I’ve got this! Brightstar Entertainment’s team is stretched thin right now, so there’s no way they’ll finish in time. By the time Chasing the Dream finally airs, nobody will care anymore!”

Justin nodded, clearly pleased. “Do it right, and you’ll be the business manager at Gale Entertainment.”

With that, she scooped up a spoonful of her homemade mushroom risotto, clearly enjoying it.

Jackson nodded. “That’s a good idea. But what if Gale Entertainment casts a male lead with a solid reputation and
