Victoria’s lips curled into a mocking smile. “What secrets could there possibly be? You use yourself to lure innocent girls into your socialite academy, then hand them over to powerful figures in the upper circles, all to benefit Nathan.”

Mrs. Tooth’s face changed, but she forced herself to speak up. “Yeah, that’s exactly what we did. But even if all this gets exposed, they’ll just throw me under the bus as the scapegoat.”

“There’s no way you can take Nathan down with me. Ms. Binder, I know you’ve got a grudge against him. You want to go after him, don’t you?”

Victoria raised an eyebrow, not surprised by Mrs. Tooth’s words. She gave a mocking laugh. “Oh? So you actually have real evidence that could expose Nathan?”

Mrs. Tooth hesitated, then finally nodded. “I do know one of his secrets, but you have to promise you’ll let me walk free first.”

Mrs. Tooth had no other choice. To save her own skin, she could only tell the truth. “Nathan throws a masked party every year called the Secret Garden. He only invites the biggest names in the game, but nobody knows who they are except for

him and Miranda Clark.”

Victoria thought for a moment, then asked, “Is that all?”

Mrs. Tooth answered quickly, “That’s all I know. Our agency just handles a piece of Nathan’s operations. When it comes to the rest of the Clark family’s stuff, I’m really not in the loop.”

‘Oh, and one more thing–Nathan assigned Angelica to me,” Mrs. Tooth added, suddenly remembering that Angelica was also one of Victoria’s enemies.

Victoria let out a mocking laugh. “Nathan actually had Angelica working for you?”

Angelica used to be known as the most talented woman in the capital’s elite circles. Nathan probably thought he could put her skills to use by having her train those naive girls they lured in.
