Queen Of Revenge And Glory (Victoria and Jackson) novel Chapter 370

Chapter 370

You know the answer,Victoria said, and without a second thought, she bent down and kissed Jackson.

The kiss was light as a feather, just barely brushing his lipscool and a little damp, like morning dew on a lake.

But Jackson wasn’t about to let it stop there.

He chuckled softly, grabbed the back of Victoria’s head, and pulled her even closer. Lifting his chin, he took charge, deepening the kiss with fierce, hungry passion.

What followed was an even deeper, more reckless kiss, both of them completely lost in each other.

What started as a gentle exploration quickly ignited into something wild and passionate.

Their lips pressed together, breath mingling between them.

Jackson’s kiss was fierce, with a searing heat, like he was trying to steal every ounce of sweetness and solace from deep inside Victoria.

Victoria didn’t just let him take the lead. She kissed him back with just as much fire.

Their tongues chased and tangled, speaking volumes without a single word.

The air felt thick and hot, and the only sounds were their heavy breathing and pounding hearts.

With their eyes shut, light and shadow danced behind their lids, and the world faded away, leaving only the heat between their lips and the way their bodies fit perfectly together.

Time lost all meaning.

They lost all sense of time, only pulling apart when their lungs finally protested for air. Jackson reluctantly released his hold on the back of Victoria’s head, his thumb softly tracing her lips, still red and tender from his kisses. His gaze was gentle, and when he spoke, his voice was low, husky, thick with longing.

Vickie, this is the only way you can make it up to me,” he murmured.

Victoria was still catching her breath, and she let out a soft laugh. You really are greedy.

Jackson chuckled softly. You’ve been running around all day. Are you exhausted?

I’m fine. My parents are the ones who’ve been working themselves to the bone,Victoria said, her eyes twinkling with mischief. But someone barely got a chance to talk to me all day. Did you feel neglected, poor thing?

You bet,Jackson teased. I spent the whole night watching everyone crowd around you like you were the hottest ticket in town. My jealousy was overflowing.

Victoria couldn’t help but laugh, her whole face lighting up with warmth. Don’t be jealous. They’re my friends and family, and soon enough, they’ll be yours too.

Jackson let out a soft laugh, taking her hand and wrapping his warm palm around her cool fingers. That’s why I waited for everyone to leave, so I could finally get my special reward from you.

They shared a smile, and in that moment, all the chaos and tiredness melted away, leaving nothing but the crystalclear

reflection of each other in their

eyes.

Vickie, can I stay over tonight?Jackson suddenly asked.

Victoria shot him a knowing look. Jack, are you planning to jump the gun on humanity’s greatest milestone before we even tie the knot?

Jackson just shook his head, helpless but doting. If Darell and Nathan make another move tonight, I want to stay by your side.”

Victoria thought for a moment. Alright, since taking down Darell is such a big deal, it’s good to have you here as my witness. She paused, then added, There’s a spare room on the third floor. You can just stay in the room next to mine.

Jackson nodded. Okay.

Seeing how quickly he agreed, Victoria rubbed her forehead. Jack, you’re way too honest. I tell you to sleep next door and you actually do it? Not even tempted to sneak into my room?

Jackson laughed. My legs are still shaky. If you made me share a room with you, that’d be the worst kind of torture for me.

Victoria burst out laughing. Yeah, you’re right. Alright, I’ll stop messing with you.

Once Victoria got Jackson settled in for the night, she slipped back to her own room.

When she got back, she saw three little snakes scrambling in and out of their nest, acting like a bunch of rowdy kids.

They were clearly fighting over territory, hissing and flicking their tongues at each other, trying to show who was boss.

Victoria shook her head, helpless but amused. She walked over to the nest and gave each little snake a gentle tap on the head. Sleep together, no fighting.

Maybe it was her authority, but the three little snakes instantly backed down. They stopped bickering and curled up neatly in the nest, quiet as mice.

Victoria smiled, pleased with herself, then turned and headed to the bathroom for a shower.

After her shower, Victoria slipped into her loose pajamas, toweldrying her damp hair as she grabbed her phone from beside the bed.

The screen lit up, and she saw a message from Jackson.

[Vickie, get some rest. Goodnight.]

Victoria couldn’t help but let a gentle smile spread across her lips.

She quickly replied: [Goodnight, Jack.]

********

Victoria had no idea how long she’d been asleep when her phone rang and woke her up.

She grabbed her phone, saw Mara’s name on the screen, and picked up right away.

Boss, Julia’s making a move,Mara said.

Got it. Julia must not die. Capture the hitman alive. I’m heading over with my team right now,Victoria said, her voice calm and commanding.

After hanging up. Victoria glanced at the time on her phone. It was 2:30 AM.

Who would’ve thought? I really nailed it,Victoria mused.

Darell was actually ready to sacrifice his own wife just to bring her down and snatch back everything from the Binder family.

Well, there was no reason for her to hold back anymore.

Once she was ready, Victoria headed next door and knocked on Jackson’s door.

Jackson opened up a moment later, wearing a dark velvet robe from his dad, the belt loosely tied and his toned chest on display. His eyes were clear and sharp, not a hint of drowsiness.

Is it happening?Jackson asked.

Yeah, the hitman went after Julia,Victoria replied, straight to the point.

Victoria gave him the quick rundown, then yanked off his robe, showing off his sculpted chest. She snatched a shirt and pants from the rack, her movements lightningfast, almost like she was in a rush for battle.

After getting him dressed, Victoria hustled Jackson out to the garage. Once they were in the car, she finally called her parents to update them on the situation.

Hector listened, paused for a beat, then said, You and Jackson go ahead. Your mom and I will track down your grandpa, and he’ll bring Sirena along after.

Got it,Victoria said, hanging up. Her gaze was icecold. This time, she was going to make sure her heartless father stayed locked away for good, never seeing daylight again.

*****

Thud.

A heavy, muffled thumplike something slamming into the wallcut through the thick door and pierced Julia’s ears. She jolted awake from her light sleep, heart suddenly tightening. Instinctively, she reached out to the other side of the bed, only to find it empty.

The cold silk sheets were a stark reminder: tonight, Darell had used the excuse of not wanting to disturb her rest and was sleeping alone in the small guest room at the end of the hall.

Thudthen a sharp clatter!

Another thud echoed, immediately followed by the unmistakable sound of porcelain smashing.

Julia snapped awake, a cold shiver racing up her spine.

She threw off the covers, her bare feet touching the icy floor as she crept silently to the door. Holding her breath, she carefully turned the doorknob and cracked the door open just a sliver.

In the dim living room, with only a bit of moonlight coming through the window, she could barely make out two blurry shapes going at each other hard.

The thud of fists and kicks echoed, and furniture was getting knocked over left and right.
