Seeing how cooperative Victoria was, Corey suddenly started to doubt himself. ‘Could it be that Mr. Geoffrey really isn’t at the Binder family?’ he wondered.
But Nathan didn’t care about the consequences. He needed to find out if Geoffrey was really at the Binder family, so he barked at Corey. “Get inside!” Nathan said.
Since things had already gotten this far, Corey had no choice but to grit his teeth and go in to look for Geoffrey. So, he brought the police along, following right behind Victoria’s car as they entered through the main gate.
Victoria parked her car in the garage, then led the police, Nathan and Corey to Goldenwood Villa.
“Victoria, you’re back,” Daisy said. When Daisy saw Nathan and the others, along with the police, following behind Victoria, she froze for a moment, then quickly pulled Victoria to her side.
Victoria took Daisy’s hand and said softly, “It’s okay, Mom.”
Then, she turned to Alonso and instructed, “Alonso, please take the officers around and see if my cousin Geoffrey is anywhere on the Binder family’s property.”
Alonso quickly nodded. “Yes, Ms. Binder.” Then, he led the police officers to search every corner of the Binder family’s property.
Meanwhile, Nathan, still not fully recovered from his injuries and unable to move around easily, decided not to join them. Instead, he stayed outside Goldenwood Villa to rest and wait for news.
Victoria turned to Daisy and said, “Mom, it’s freezing out here. Let’s go inside and wait for news.” With that, she took Daisy’s hand and walked into the villa, leaving Nathan out in the cold.
An hour later, Corey trudged back outside Goldenwood Villa with the police, looking completely defeated. “Mr. Clark…” his voice quivered. “We… we couldn’t find Mr. Geoffrey.”
When Nathan heard this, his expression turned icy cold, like a chill wind sweeping through, making everyone shudder. Just then, Victoria walked out of the villa. “I never locked up my cousin, so obviously you weren’t going to find him here,” Victoria said, her voice steady and a little sarcastic.
She waved her phone casually, a bright, confident smile on her lips. “Just so you know, I called the cops myself.”
The cops exchanged confused glances when Victoria said that. The lead officer scratched his head, looking puzzled. “We’re the police, you know. Why bother calling us?”
Victoria kept her cool, flashing a bright smile. “I called because Nathan attacked my cousin, and I’ve got proof.”
Soon enough, another squad of cops showed up in a hurry. “Who called the police?” one of them asked.
“That was me, officer,” Victoria replied. She calmly pulled a small dashcam out of her bag and handed it over to the officer. The officer took the dashcam and checked the footage. The video clearly showed Victoria finding Geoffrey, who was covered in wounds and looked absolutely miserable.
Next, Victoria pulled out some surveillance footage from inside the Binder family’s property. The video showed that after she found Geoffrey, she didn’t lay a finger on him; in fact, she went all out to patch him up.
Finally, Victoria handed over a recording. When the cops heard Geoffrey himself say that Nathan was the one who beat hind up they were totally stunned. Nathan was left speechless.

Victoria pointed at Nathan. “This Clark guy called the cops and stormed into my home with zero evidence. Now that I’ve got solid proof, officers, shouldn’t you be hauling him in for questioning and investigation?”
Nathan replied coolly, “Fine, take me to the station. But I want to see every security video from the Binder family for the last five days. I have every reason to suspect you forced my cousin to say those things; how convenient you just happened to have a recording.”
Victoria shrugged, a faint smile on her lips. “I’ve learned my lesson. When I first came back to the Binder family, Angelica was always trying to frame me. So now, I just make it a habit.”
Nathan was speechless. Victoria pressed on, “Officers, I have reason to believe Nathan is the one behind my cousin’s disappearance.
“He accused me of covering his own wrongdoing; classic hypocrisy. I demanded that the Clark family’s surveillance footage from the past four days be reviewed as well.”
Corey’s face flushed with rage. “That’s bullshit! Mr. Clark and Mr. Geoffrey are like brothers; he’d never beat him up like that!”
Victoria shot Corey a sharp look. “And you, the officers had already said I could sue him for slander! He called the stormed into my house with zero evidence.

“I let you search so I could prove my innocence, but that doesn’t mean I’ll let him smear my name. So, officers, I’m pressing charges against this butler for slander, too.”
The officers Victoria called over wore stern expressions. “Mr. Clark, based on the evidence Ms. Binder has provided, you are suspected of violent assault. Therefore, both of you need to come with us to the station for further investigation.”
Nathan’s expression twisted with rage. He balled his fists, shooting Victoria a deadly glare. “Victoria, if anything happens to Geoffrey, your whole family will pay the price!”
Victoria pointed at Nathan and said to the officers, “Officers, see? He’s still threatening me right in front of you!”
The officers’ faces turned even more serious. One of them gave Nathan a hard look and said, “I don’t care who you are, it together while you’re here!”

After warning Nathan, the officer turned to Victoria. “Ms. Binder, you need to come with us too, and hand over the last five days of your family’s security footage.”
Victoria nodded right away. “Sure thing, officers! I’ll cooperate fully.”
She turned to Alonso and said, “Go get the last five days of security footage and hand it over to the officers.”
Alonso nodded. “Yes, Ms. Binder.”
Nathan said, “To make sure nobody messes with the footage, I want my butler to go along and retrieve it together.”
Victoria just shrugged. “Doesn’t bother me. I’ve got nothing to hide.”
Nathan didn’t say another word. Once the footage grim.
Victoria turned back to Daisy. “Mom, I’m going

Daisy had a million questions, like where Geoffrey was taken, but now wasn’t the time. She just nodded. “Okay, I’ll wait for
you.”

As soon as they got in, Victoria pretended to be concerned and asked, “Mr. Clark, you still haven’t told me how you get those. injuries? Was it some kind of explosion? How did you end up getting hurt so badly?” She sounded almost like she was mocking him.
Nathan’s forehead was wrapped in thick bandages, and when he heard Victoria’s words, the veins on his forehead throbbed angrily beneath the gauze. He clenched his jaw, spitting out through gritted teeth, “Will you ever shut up?”
Victoria just laughed, unfazed, and kept teasing, “Hey, I’m only worried about you! I mean, your grandma got sent to the station not long ago, just like your Uncle. Now you’re all beat up if you end up in the station too, that’d really be tragic!”
