**TITLE: Night Whispers Forgotten Names – Colin Shah 325**

**CONTENT: Chapter 325**

*Lenna’s POV*

As I spoke softly into the phone, I could feel the weight of the situation pressing down on me. “Jake found out, so Amelia canceled all of her appointments with us,” I relayed to Claire, my voice barely above a whisper. The tension in the air was palpable, and I could sense the frustration radiating from Jeffrey, who continued to work diligently despite Amelia’s abrupt cancellations. His brow furrowed in concentration, he remained blissfully unaware of the true extent of his brilliance. He had already unraveled this puzzle, and yet, here we were, still grappling with it.

A pang of guilt washed over me as I thought about how my interference had set him on this convoluted path. If only I hadn’t meddled with Amelia’s potion in the first place, she would have recalled everything by now, and we wouldn’t be in this predicament.

Yet, even with my interference, Amelia was still managing to piece together fragments of her past.

“She might be under house arrest,” I pointed out, “but that doesn’t mean she can’t remember everything at any moment.” I sighed, my frustration mounting. “Without those appointments, it’s impossible for me to keep track of her.”

Claire’s exasperation crackled through the line, her voice sharp and clear. “You are such a coward. Even now, after everything that has happened, and let’s not forget—you’re far from innocent.”

My heart raced at her accusation, but I stood my ground. “I’m doing everything I can,” I insisted, my voice steady despite the turmoil inside me.

“Are you really?” Claire retorted, her skepticism evident. “Yes, Amelia is stuck at home, which could be a problem if you weren’t part of that family. Just go to her, Sienna. Get inside that house and make sure she doesn’t remember anything.”

In that moment, a realization struck me like a bolt of lightning. I had been overlooking the simplest solution, perhaps even avoiding it on purpose. Confronting Amelia was one thing, but deceiving my entire family felt like a daunting task. The thought of it filled me with dread. When Amelia eventually faded from our lives, I wanted to ensure that my family was whole again. All I’d ever desired was their love, yet it felt like a distant dream, forever out of reach.

“I’ll think about it,” I replied, my voice lacking conviction.

“Don’t just think about it—” Claire started to press, but before she could finish, my phone buzzed with an incoming call. I glanced at the screen and felt a jolt of surprise.
