Ran Away Pregnant Came Back Alpha Heiress (Amelia and Damien) novel Chapter 327

**Chapter 327**

**Damien’s POV**

Days turned into weeks as I immersed myself in the relentless pursuit of the truth surrounding Amelia’s tragic death. The absence of Keegan only added to the weight of the investigation, as I sifted through the sparse information available to me. Each piece felt like a fragment of a shattered mirror, reflecting the chaos of my thoughts and emotions. Then, at last, Keegan returned, bringing with him a flurry of new leads that demanded our immediate attention. The task of organizing the fresh data was daunting, yet it was a necessary step toward clarity.

Once we had everything sorted, the truth began to emerge from the shadows. I discovered a text message thread from that fateful night, a conversation that included Claire, my sister Victoria, and a third individual whose identity had been a mystery for far too long. For years, I had pondered who this person might be, but now, with the newfound evidence in hand, I was finally able to confirm that the elusive figure was none other than Sienna.

Eager to share my findings, I presented them to Keegan, who listened intently. A grim expression crossed his face as he processed the implications. “Alpha Jake is not going to like these results,” he remarked, his brow furrowing with concern.

I nodded in agreement, feeling the weight of the situation settle heavily on my shoulders. “He has to hear them, though,” I insisted, my voice firm. “This isn’t just about Amelia; it’s about Annette too. All this anger from him stems from his fear for Annette’s safety, especially now that Amelia has… left us.” The pain of uttering those words was still raw, a wound that refused to heal. “With Sienna out there, she poses a real threat to Annette. Jake needs to understand this.”

Keegan’s silence spoke volumes as he absorbed my words, his expression darkening.

I reached for the phone on my desk, my fingers trembling slightly as I dialed Jake’s number. The ringing echoed in the quiet room, each tone amplifying my anxiety. When he failed to answer, I quickly switched tactics and called his beta.

“What do you want?” the beta snapped, his tone dripping with disdain.

“I have evidence that—” I began, but he cut me off, his impatience palpable.

“No one wants to talk to you. Don’t call here again.” The line went dead before I could utter another word, leaving me seething with frustration.

“I could give it a shot,” Keegan suggested, his tone hopeful yet cautious.

“It won’t make a difference,” I replied, shaking my head. “Once they realize it’s you, they’ll dismiss it just like they did with me.”

“What about submitting the evidence anonymously?” Keegan proposed. It was a clever idea in theory, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that it would be futile.

**Jake’s POV**

As we delved deeper into the investigation, we had managed to collect several items that belonged to Amelia. Yet, I was still uncertain about which specific item would trigger her memories of Damien. Sienna had suggested her car keys, which made sense; after all, Amelia had always driven to meet him in Gray’s pack. The thought of her behind the wheel, racing toward him, stirred a mix of emotions within me.

My anger toward Gray simmered beneath the surface. He was adamant about his innocence, but I found it hard to believe that an Alpha could remain oblivious to another Alpha’s presence in his territory. Yet, without concrete evidence, my hands were tied. I couldn’t confront him without risking everything.

The more pressing challenge lay ahead: acquiring items from Damien’s side for our ritual. I had already reached out to some of my spies, who, under my direction, were attempting to bribe Damien’s servants for the items we needed.

The servants, however, displayed a surprising loyalty, complicating our efforts. They agreed to keep the meetings with my spies under wraps for the right price, but they were unwilling to part with their Alpha’s belongings.

I refused to back down; this only made the task more challenging. I would find a way to obtain what we needed, no matter the obstacles in my path.
