Ran Away Pregnant Came Back Alpha Heiress (Amelia and Damien) novel Chapter 83

**Night Whispers Forgotten Names – Colin Shah 83**

“We need to take action,” I asserted firmly, my voice carrying an urgency that I hoped would resonate with Victoria. “I’m the one who’s pregnant with his heir. She’s merely tangled up in his side project.”

Victoria sighed, her brow furrowing in thought. “I’ve been reaching out to Sienna, but she’s been dodging my messages ever since that fiasco with the poisoning.”

I couldn’t help but grumble in frustration. “Maybe that’s for the best. She couldn’t even manage such a simple task as poisoning… I’m really not impressed with Victoria’s friend from the north.” My disappointment hung heavy in the air, a palpable tension between us.

“She might still have some value to us,” Victoria countered, her eyes narrowing with determination. “After all, she despises Amelia. We just need to help her overcome her reluctance to actually hurt her.”

“Do you really think she can get past that?” I questioned, skepticism lacing my tone.

“In due time,” Victoria replied, her confidence unwavering.

“We don’t have the luxury of time,” I reminded her, the gravity of our situation weighing down on me. At most, we had nine months, but now it was down to eight. I instinctively placed my hand on my belly, feeling a mixture of protectiveness and anxiety.

“We’re running out of options,” Victoria said, her voice tinged with frustration. “Unless you know someone else who’s deeply embedded in Jake’s territory.”

I shook my head, the reality of our predicament settling in. I didn’t have any connections, and that was a significant part of our dilemma.

Sienna was still young; she had the potential to be shaped into a powerful ally. But she needed guidance, a firm hand to steer her toward the right choices, and we had to minimize the risks involved this time.

Surely, Sienna could comprehend that we didn’t want to harm Amelia or her baby. It was simply a necessary evil for the greater good of our packs.

“For the sake of both our packs, if she wants her brother back, she has to act,” I stated resolutely.

“I’ve been trying to convey that to her,” Victoria said, a hint of exasperation creeping into her voice.

“Maybe just texting isn’t sufficient,” I suggested, my mind racing with possibilities. “Perhaps we need to call her and persuade her ourselves.”

“Do you really think that will work?” she asked, doubt evident in her expression.
