Lydia’s biggest worry was always Viper.
The people in Viper weren’t just troublemakers. They were downright reckless. If any of them ever found out who she really was, her family would be their first choice for revenge. She just didn’t want her loved ones to get caught up in her mess.
Lucinda, on the other hand, was barely worth her attention. Just a clown putting on a show. Lydia honestly didn’t care about the whole “real heiress, fake heiress” drama. She knew who she was, and that was enough.
When Lydia stayed silent in response to Lincoln’s question, Juna stepped in with a shrug. “Lydia isn’t interested in all those silly titles, alright?”
Lincoln rolled his eyes. “But that Lucinda acts like she’s better than everyone. I can’t stand the way she looks down her nose at people.”
Juna just grinned. “Then go do something about it. Complaining to us isn’t going to change anything.”
Lincoln gave up, mumbling under his breath. No point arguing. He’d shut up.
After about twenty minutes, they reached the Lowe family’s neighborhood. The houses here had a similar old-school charm as the Robinson estate, just on a smaller scale.
Lincoln explained as they walked, “My grandpa’s sentimental. He likes it here. He never wanted to move to the new villa, even though it’s a lot fancier.”
But apparently something had changed. Yesterday, his grandfather suddenly insisted on moving. Lincoln’s parents had no choice but to go along with it. They planned to move him over in the next couple of days.
“Lydia, do you have any idea what’s going on with my grandpa?” Lincoln asked, sounding exhausted. “He flat out refuses to go to the hospital, and if we bring doctors here, he just chases them away with his cane. We’re all out of ideas.”
Juna smirked, “Maybe he’s just lonely and wants you guys to find him a girlfriend, but he’s too shy to say it out loud. So he’s making trouble for attention?”
Lincoln nearly choked, coughing as he stared at her. “Come on. He’s over seventy. What does he need a girlfriend for? Years ago, my parents told him it was okay to find someone, but he always refused. He said he’d only ever love my grandma.”
Juna raised her eyebrows. “Old people get lonely, you know?”
That thought seemed to blow Lincoln’s mind. He stared at Juna, wide-eyed. “Wait… are you saying your grandpa actually has a girlfriend now?”

thank u!...
thank u for the upload...
the next chapter is exciting...
the next upload is exciting. i cant wait....
Every chapter is missing a sentence from the end of every chapter. It’s frustrating to try guess what’s missing or said...
