Marilyn and Yara thought they were in for a good laugh, tagging along with Dr. Tomlinson just to watch Lydia embarrass herself. But things didn’t go the way they expected. By the end of it, they were so frustrated they nearly lost their tempers right then and there.
Later that evening, Juna invited Lydia out again. This time, Lincoln joined them. Ever since Lydia left the Lowe family estate over the weekend, Geovan, Christine, and Lincoln had spent ages talking things through. The more they discussed it, the clearer it became that something was seriously off with Andy. He was acting like a completely different person.
At first, they thought maybe he was just getting forgetful, but Lydia insisted his mind was sharp. That made things even more unsettling. If he was mentally sound and still the same person physically, how could his personality change so much? The more they thought about it, the weirder it seemed.
Lincoln was worried. That’s why he’d begged Juna to help arrange another meeting with Lydia.
As soon as Lydia saw Lincoln, she got right to the point. “Did your grandfather get the marriage certificate?”
Lincoln looked like he hadn’t slept in days. “He did. City Hall was closed yesterday for the weekend, so first thing this morning, the two of them went and got it. They came back happier than ever. And now he wants a wedding. What are we supposed to do about that?”
Juna couldn’t stop herself from laughing. “Just let him have the wedding. Trust me, there won’t be any shortage of people wanting to show up with gifts.”
With Mr. Lowe’s reputation, if he decided to throw a wedding, people would definitely show up with presents, no matter what they really thought.
Lydia asked, “Is he eating normally?”
Lincoln ran his fingers through his hair, looking stressed. “Yeah, everything’s normal. That’s why I’m so confused.”
Juna suddenly turned serious. She looked Lincoln in the eye. “Do you think… your grandpa’s been possessed or something?”
Lincoln stared at her, completely at a loss. “Have you been reading too many fantasy novels? Possessed?”
Juna shrugged. “I mean, can you really rule it out? He looks the same, he’s not sick, but he’s acting like a new person. Maybe there’s someone else in there. Otherwise, why would he suddenly be so obsessed with getting married and having a big celebration at his age?”
Lincoln didn’t even know how to answer that one. Juna’s theory was so wild, he was left speechless.

Olha a história bem boa só algumas coisas são chatas ( nesse tipo de história sempre troca as filhas pela a da empregada ou então pegam uma menina pra criar) pelo menos eles tratam a filha bem só enche o saco que até agora a Lucinda tá lá enchendo ! Fora isso tá bom Connor é um fofo a família dela a ama muito só Lucinda pra abaixar o nível do livro já era pra ter resolvido isso e fazer ela pagar mais tudo bem li um livro chinês que era parecido só algumas coisas diferentes ,ais mesma coisa tipo ela salvou o Connor no início lá ela salvava o avô dele , no chinês ela não tinha um irmão mais novo com os pais adotivos , a mãe dela tinha 2 irmãos e todos os avós estavam vivos mais história quase igual e tem coisas tipo o triângulo que lá TB tinha até a Lucinda que no chines TB ficou o livro todo aprontando só no final a família descobria e se livrava dela aí ela ia morar com o cara que ela usa pra disfarçar que não gosta do Connor aí depois ainda quase matava a irmã dele e a mãe dele que ele via como ela era...
