Ready to Rule: The Real Heiress Strikes Back novel Chapter 1151

[I heard she's got the Hydes family backing her. Where else would she get the guts to act out like this? She honestly thinks she's above the rules, just doing whatever she wants.]

[General Jackson’s niece? I can’t believe his family is this out of control.]

Jackson’s face kept getting darker as he read, the muscle at his temple twitching with every word.

He scrolled further and then stopped cold at a post from a gossip account. The article spelled out all of Rosie’s so-called misdeeds, dragging the Hydes family right into the mess, saying they were the reason Rosie felt untouchable.

A bitter laugh slipped out. He was so angry, he felt like he might actually explode.

He just got home, and this was the disaster Rosie had waiting for him.

His stare was icy as he glared at her. “And you said you weren’t causing trouble? This is you keeping a low profile? Secret photos, paying off trolls online—do you have any idea how much trouble you’re bringing to the Hydes family? The investigation team is already desperate for dirt, and you’re basically handing it to them.”

Jackson slammed his phone down on the table. The sound was so sharp, everyone jumped.

Rosie’s heart dropped. She leaned forward, saw the comments, and her face went white. She felt like her legs couldn’t even hold her up.

“It’s not what you think…” Her voice shook, already on the edge of tears.

Jackson’s eyes were sharp, almost burning. “You’re still going to make excuses? How are you going to explain these screenshots? This is all the proof anyone needs.”

Rosie dropped to her knees, tears blurring her vision. “I swear, I didn’t mean any harm. It’s Lydia… she’s been hanging around Carter all the time. She already has a fiancé but she still got so close with other boys. I just got mad and wanted people online to talk. I never thought it would get so out of hand…”
