These days, it seemed like every girl was obsessed with celebrities. Since Elliot was a superstar himself, he’d thought about getting Lucinda a book full of autographs. But Lucinda had waved it off, saying she wasn’t into that sort of thing, that she only liked watching his movies. So, he hadn’t bothered. Now, seeing her get jealous when he handed one to Lydia was the last thing he expected.
Lucinda was caught in her own words, and the embarrassment hit her hard. She forced a smile and tried to play it off. “I was just joking, Elliot. Don’t take me too seriously. You’re the only celebrity I care about anyway. I don’t know any of the others, so their autographs wouldn’t mean anything to me.”
To be honest, Lucinda had always looked down on most celebrities. In her eyes, they were just performers, entertainment for the wealthy. Elliot, though, was different. He wasn’t just a star, he was the son of the richest man in the country. Going into show business had just been a way for him to have fun.
Elliot caught her drift and went along with it, a teasing smile on his lips. “I know I’m your favorite. That’s why I got you something better.” He pulled out a small stack of tickets. “VIP seats for my tour. Front row. Bring a couple of your friends.”
Lucinda lit up instantly. She’d meant to ask him for tickets anyway. Her friends had been begging her for days, but VIPs were impossible to get, no matter how much money you had.
“Here you go, keep them safe.” Elliot handed her three tickets.
Lucinda took them, still grinning, but then she counted and her smile faded just a little. Usually, Elliot would give her at least five. This time, only three? Did he give the rest to Lydia? She couldn’t ask with everyone watching, so she just kept smiling and thanked him. “Thanks, Elliot.”
The family was all smiles, and Mr. Norwood looked proud. “Nicely done, Elliot. It’s good to treat both your sisters the same.”
Elliot grinned. “Just trying to keep everyone happy.”
Kylie suddenly exclaimed, “Elliot, you didn’t tell us you were coming back! I would have invited Connor over for dinner too.”
He’d heard about their grandfather’s illness and honestly, he was blown away by how capable Lydia was. And she’d been the top scorer in the entire country on her finals. He couldn’t be prouder.
Mr. Norwood chuckled. “Lydia’s got even more hidden talents. I was a huge fan of Melody Mastro, and I never imagined she was actually our Lydia. We were all shocked.”
His grandfather’s words felt like a bomb going off. Elliot just stared at him, stunned. Melody Mastro, the legend everyone talked about, was his own sister? It was almost too much to take in.
Everyone else at the table started to laugh at his expression. It took Elliot a long moment to shake off the shock. When he finally spoke, his voice was barely above a whisper. “Wait... does Blake know about this?”

thank u!...
thank u for the upload...
the next chapter is exciting...
the next upload is exciting. i cant wait....
Every chapter is missing a sentence from the end of every chapter. It’s frustrating to try guess what’s missing or said...
