Paul was furious, eyes blazing. He didn’t care who Lydia was, just glared at her and Connor like he wanted to set them both on fire. “You better not run. I swear I’ll make you regret it tonight.”
Lydia rolled her eyes. “You really think you’re that tough? If you’ve got backup, call them. I’m not scared.”
Paul snorted and laughed. “Alright, just wait.”
He whipped out his phone and called someone right in front of everyone. “Mr. Robinson, there’s trouble at your Shadow Theater. Two people causing a scene. What do you want me to do?”
“Yes, Mr. Robinson. They’re basically begging for it.”
“Got it. I’ll take care of it.”
He hung up, looking ridiculously pleased with himself. “If you beg for forgiveness now, I might let you off. You can all go back to your movie.”
Lydia just shot him a cold, silent look.
Paul clicked his tongue and turned to address the crowd. “You all saw it, right? She started it and hit me first. I’m not at fault here. If she kneels down and apologizes, I’ll let it go. If not…”
He didn’t get to finish. Connor, who had been holding back, snapped. He stepped forward and kicked Paul so hard he flew back, crashing onto a row of empty seats.
Lola screamed. The whole crowd froze. Nobody dared move or even breathe.
Who were these people? Who just sends someone flying like that with a single kick?
It was so unreal.
Paul landed hard. His nose was bleeding, and he just lay there, too stunned and battered to get up. He felt like he’d been shattered into pieces.
Now the crowd really panicked. People started rushing for the exits, some whispering about calling the police.
Lola looked terrified. She rushed to Paul’s side, voice shaking. “Paul, are you okay? Say something…”
One of them glared at her. “You should apologize to this gentleman right now. Otherwise, you’ll regret it.”
Paul lifted his chin and smirked, “Don’t bother with her. I’ll have them both kneeling and begging for my forgiveness in a minute.”
A smooth, commanding voice rang out from the entrance. “Who are caysing trouble in my place?”
Paul’s eyes lit up. He turned to see a tall, good-looking guy in designer clothes walking in, confidence radiating from every step. Paul practically rushed over. “Mr. Robinson, here!”
The security guards straightened up, bowing their heads. “Good evening, sir.”
Nathaniel nodded slightly. “So, what’s going on?”
Paul pointed straight at Lydia and Connor. “It’s them, Mr. Robinson. They scared everyone off.”

thank u!...
thank u for the upload...
the next chapter is exciting...
the next upload is exciting. i cant wait....
Every chapter is missing a sentence from the end of every chapter. It’s frustrating to try guess what’s missing or said...
