Ready to Rule: The Real Heiress Strikes Back novel Chapter 875

Lorelei was the most mysterious, most untouchable superstar around. She never showed up at public events, and if you wanted to see her in person, you had to fight your way through the crowds at her concerts or album launches. Now someone was telling them they’d been sharing a dorm with Lorelei this whole time? What kind of insane luck was that?

Lydia couldn’t help but chuckle. She took their things, sat down at her desk, and started signing autographs.

By six in the evening, Kevin messaged her. The big shots from the research institute had arrived. He was hosting dinner and wanted her to join them.

Lydia shot back a quick reply. [Nope.]

Kevin had expected that. Lydia never cared about being polite. He tried again. [If you’re not coming to dinner, I’ll just bring them to the lab tonight. That way, you can all meet each other.]

Lydia replied. [Alright.]

Later that evening, Lydia ate dinner in the cafeteria with Monica and Fiona, then went straight to the lab. Monica and Fiona had heard before that Lydia could study however she wanted at this school. She wasn’t tied to any schedule, and she even had a lab of her own, fully funded.

Still, Monica couldn’t help but worry. She glanced at Lydia. “Hey, Lydia, is your lab in the same building as ours?”

Lydia paused for a second. “No, it’s not the same building.”

“Oh.”

“Another day, I’ll come to your lab and teach you how to do dissections.”

Monica’s eyes sparkled, and she nodded right away. “Okay!”

“Alright, see you later.”

Kevin was a legend himself in the International Medical Association, someone everyone looked up to. But to say he’d actually brought Miracle Hands here? That was something else. Miracle Hands was almost a myth—everyone knew the name, but no one had ever seen them. Stories about their skills sounded like miracles, and everyone in medicine wanted just one glimpse, but no one ever managed it. Sometimes people wondered if Miracle Hands was just a story made up to motivate young doctors.

But now, apparently, they were about to meet this legend in real life.

Garrett was just as curious. He was practically buzzing with excitement, dying to see what Miracle Hands was really like.

They followed Kevin up to the second floor. The lab was packed with high-tech equipment, even fancier than what they had at their own institute. They couldn’t believe their eyes. Kevin really did have hidden treasures at this school.

As they walked in, they spotted a petite, slender figure. Her hair was pulled back in a ponytail, and even with her protective gear and mask, she had this calm, cool vibe. There was no mistaking it—she was just a young girl.

One of the men glanced at Kevin, confused. “Kevin, is there only one student here?”
