“Teach her a lesson?” Jasper let out a cold laugh, feeling utterly hollow inside. “You want to destroy someone’s reputation like this? When did the Kains learn to stoop so low?”
Jasper’s eyes swept sharply over his father and sister. His voice was as cold as ice. “Move. Don’t make me use force on you.”
“Jasper! How could you—”
Gresham tried to stop him, but when he saw the determination and anger in his son’s eyes, he was at a loss for words. Viola shrank back, too frightened to get in Jasper’s way.
Jasper didn’t hesitate any longer. He raised his foot and kicked the door with all his strength.
Thud!
With a loud crash, the lock broke, and the door swung open.
Jasper rushed inside first, his heart pounding in his chest.
The room was dim, messy, and thick with a lewd smell.
On the bed, the blanket was heaped up, shadows shifting beneath it, clothes strewn across the floor.
He could hear a woman gasping and a man grunting.
“Noelle!” Jasper shouted, his heart twisting with pain and fury, and charged forward.
“Excuse me, what are you all doing?”
A clear, calm voice–cool and even a little curious–suddenly spoke from behind them. The sound hit like a thunderclap. The three Kains froze and spun around in shock.
Noelle was leaning against the wall under the hallway lights, arms crossed, with a faintly mocking smile on her face as she watched them,
She was perfectly dressed, not a hair out of place. There wasn’t a single trace of panic or
shame on her face.
Beside her was Lucas, who looked just as relaxed
Sebastian sat in his wheelchair, elegant and icy as ever, with Primo and Duo standing behind him.

Both men stood with their arms crossed, looking at the scene like it was a joke.
“Noelle? How–how come you are here?”

Viola was the first to scream, her eyes almost popping out of her head. She pointed at Noelle, then at the room, stammering, “You–you were supposed to be in the room!”
Gresham was just as stunned. He looked from Noelle in the hallway to the open door, his face turning pale.
Jasper froze in place, too. Shock and overwhelming relief left him speechless.
Noelle was safe!
She was standing right here, perfectly fine!
Noelle raised an eyebrow, her tone full of mockery. “Why would I be inside? Are you waiting to see the show you all directed? Or did you really think I’d be dumb enough to walk right into your trap?”
She walked forward, her gaze passing over Viola’s pale face and Gresham’s stunned expression before landing on Jasper for a brief moment.
“If that’s not you, then … who’s in there?” Viola suddenly realized something was wrong and ran into the room, yanking the blanket aside.
A shrill, horrified scream rang out from inside.
Viola stumbled back, pointing at the bed as if she’d seen a ghost. “Mom? Why are you here?”
On the bed lay a completely naked woman, her face flushed. She clearly wasn’t in her right mind. It was Willow, who was supposed to be outside.
Gresham and Jasper rushed in after hearing the scream, only to be completely stunned by what they saw.
Gresham’s face went ashen, his whole body trembling as he pointed at Willow, still dazed on the bed. “You… you … you! Outrageous! Get down from there!”
But Willow acted like she hadn’t heard a thing, still rocking on the bed.
It was a scene too awful to look at.
Gresham’s blood pressure spiked. He nearly fainted from anger.
“Get out! All of you, get out!” he roared.
