With that, she pulled out her needles. Zeke’s eyes widened in alarm. “What are you doing?!”

Noelle replied calmly, “I’m going to show you what real holistic medicine is.”

She stepped forward and stood in front of Theodore, glancing at the needles in his body. Without hesitating, she reached out to pull them out.

“No! If you take out the needles, he could die instantly!” Zeke shouted, trying to stop her.

Ethan wanted to intervene as well, but Sebastian stepped in first.

“Trust her.”

Sebastian’s voice was firm. “With her skill, she won’t mess this up.”

Ethan hesitated, looking at Theodore, whose face already seemed a bit healthier. He looked. from Sebastian’s firm expression to Noelle’s calm determination, unsure.

Before he could decide, Noelle’s hands flew. She vanked all the needles from Theodore and tossed them to the floor like trash.

“How reckless! Fine, fine. You may let this girl do whatever she wants, but don’t come crying to me if something goes wrong!”

Zeke flung his sleeve, looking furious. Inside, though, he was secretly happy. He couldn’t cure Theodore anyway. The bigger the trouble Noelle caused, the better for him. If something went wrong, he could blame it all on her.

She pulled out the needles herself. If Theodore collapsed, it had nothing to do with him.

Ethan stared at the needles lying on the floor, his expression darkening. He coldly said to Sebastian, “Your wife had better know what she’s doing. If anything happens to Grandpa, I won’t let this slide!”

Sebastian’s brown eyes never left Noelle. “I trust her.”

Noelle spread out her needles and began inserting them, her movements clean and exact.

Even Zeke was stunned. He had been waiting to see her fail, but he didn’t expect someone so young to possess such incredible medical skills.

He stared at her, his expression shifting. It was clear she wasn’t bluffing.

Suddenly, Theodore started coughing hard, spraying blood from his mouth. The healthy color drained from his face, turning gray and pale.

“Grandpa!” Ethan cried out.

Sebastian tightened his grip on the wheelchair.

Zeke, however, didn’t look surprised at all. He never believed Theodore could be saved, especially not by a young girl. He sneered, feeling a bit pleased. “I told you! Letting this girl treat Mr. Theodore would only make it worse! Do you believe me now?

“Hah. I had barely stabilized him, and now it’s even worse. I can’t save him anymore!

“Mr. Ethan, this is because you didn’t listen to me and let her act recklessly. Now she’s killed Mr. Theodore-”

Zeke stopped mid–sentence. Sebastian’s icy stare locked onto him. A shiver ran through him, starting at his feet and shooting straight up to his head.

His throat tightened as if something were stuck there, leaving him completely speechless.

He quickly looked away, his heart pounding.

Staring back was useless. Theodore was probably going to die anyway. Then Zeke could dump all the blame on that girl.

Noelle stayed calm. Even as Theodore coughed up blood, her expression didn’t change. She picked up a handkerchief and gently wiped the blood away.

Then she laid out her needles again. Without pausing, she grabbed three at once and drove them into the top of his head.
