Chapter 192 Challenged
Several senior officials exchanged glances and wisely chose not to say anything.
“We were discussing a new drug formula,” Sebastian said casually. He wrapped an arm around Noelle’s waist and nudged the cup closer to her. “Are you hungry? The kitchen prepared some snacks.”
Watching their intimate interaction, Rachel quietly dug her nails into her palm. Her face still held a polite smile as she said, “What we’re discussing is highly specialized medical knowledge. Ms. Kain probably wouldn’t understand this level of technical detail.”
Primo and Duo stood behind them and exchanged a look when they heard that.
If Noelle didn’t understand medicine, then no one in the world did.
Duo couldn’t hold it in and let out a short laugh. Primo was more composed. He cleared his throat and nudged him with his elbow, signaling him to tone it down.
Noelle seemed not to hear Rachel at all. She picked up the document and glanced through it.
“There’s a problem with this formula.”
Rachel frowned. This was a formula she had devoted herself to researching. There was no way it was wrong.
“Ms. Kain doesn’t understand pharmacology, so it’s understandable if you can’t see the brilliance in it. But this is a formula l personally developed. If you don’t understand it, please don’t make careless accusations,” Rachel said sharply.
The senior officials also looked at Noelle with clear displeasure.
“We’ve all reviewed this formula, Rachel has already produced the drug using it and tested it. There were no issues at all,” one of
them said.
“Anyone who took the drug showed a significant boost in physical performance within a short time, with no side effects,” another official added, clearly affirming Rachel’s work and expressing dissatisfaction with Noelle’s sudden challenge.
Noelle casually tossed the document back onto the coffee table with a soft thud. She lifted her eyes, calm but unwavering. “Short- term improvement? How long did you observe them? A week? A month?” she asked coolly.
“This formula uses an excessive dose of Blue Daze to forcibly stimulate cellular activity. In the short term, it does boost energy and strength. But the nature of Blue Daze is to drain potential by burning life force. With long term use, within three months at most, the user’s meridians will shrink, their organs will begin to fail, and in severe cases, it can be fatal.”
“What?”
Duo cried out in shock.
Organ failure?
Fatal?
“Mrs. Menzie, is there any way to fix this? Can the people who tested the drug still be saved?” Duo asked urgently,
Several people had already taken the drug. One senior official’s son had even been among them. If the drug truly had issues, they could lose their lives.

Chapter 192 Challenged
Duo trusted Noelle completely and was certain she was right.
Noelle replied calmly, “It’s not difficult. I’ll write a prescription. Once those who took the drug follow it, they’ll be fine.”
“Primo, get paper and a pen,” Sebastian said decisively.
“Sebastian?” Rachel stared at him in disbelief.
She had never imagined he would actually believe Noelle.

To her, Noelle’s questioning had been nothing more than emotional outburst and a joke. But Sebastian believing Noelle and standing with her was a deep humiliation.
“Ms. Kain, I did use Blue Daze in my formula, but I also added another ingredient to neutralize its effects. If your understanding of medicine is only superficial, you shouldn’t challenge me so casually,” Rachel said angrily, clenching her teeth.
“And I’ve heard that Ms. Kain is only a high school graduate.” Her eyes reddened as she looked at Sebastian. “Mr. Menzie, I’m sorry, but I cannot tolerate being questioned by someone like that. I’ll excuse myself.”
With that, Rachel picked up the documents and turned to leave, her back stiff with wounded pride.
“Rachel!”
Several senior officials looked anxious as they watched her go. Rachel was the daughter of an old friend and had grown up in IBI. She had devoted herself to medical study and saved countless lives. Compared to Noelle, a recent high school graduate, they naturally trusted Rachel more.
As a result, their frustration toward Noelle only grew.
Primo brought over the paper and pen. Noelle wrote calmly. When she finished, she set the pen down and swept her gaze across the displeased faces. “The prescription is here. Whether you use it or not is your decision.”
The senior officials looked at Sebastian before finally accepting the prescription.
“Give this to everyone who tested the drug. Have them take it exactly as written,” Sebastian instructed.
“Yes,”
