Yvette chuckled lightly and said slowly, “Yvette, we’re doing this for your own good. We’re afraid you’ll get scammed and end up hurting your sister instead. She looks barely 20. What medical skills could she possibly have? At a glance, she’s clearly here to cheat you out of money.”

“I know exactly what kind of person Ms. Kain is!” Yvette finally exploded. Her voice pressed down the raging anger rolling inside her. “Please leave!”

“Mr. Anthony, Mrs. Eliana, please leave.” The maids rushed forward, trying to escort them out. But no matter how they persuaded or pulled, Anthony and his wife acted shamelessly and refused to move.

“Madeline, don’t listen to your sister. It’s your face that’s rotten, not hers. Of course she doesn’t care. She can just find anyone to treat you. We are the ones who truly care about you…”

“Enough! Stop talking!” Madeline suddenly let out a sharp scream.

“Whether the doctor treats me or not, I decide for myself!”

Yvette and Eliana exchanged a look and temporarily fell silent.

They knew Madeline’s temper all too well. There was no way she would willingly let a doctor touch her face.

They had already found more than a dozen doctors before. Every single one of them mocked her during the so–called treatment, calling her ugly and disgusting, step by step crushing her confidence and making her believe that her face could never be cured.

She had gone from a bright, cheerful girl to a snail hiding in its shell, no longer daring to see anyone.

Madeline slowly raised her head. Her eyes swept across everyone in the room and finally settled on Noelle.

She spoke slowly, clearly, and firmly, “I’m willing to let her treat me.”

Anthony and Eliana couldn’t believe their ears. What did this brat just say?

Yvette, however, was delighted. This was the first time since the injury that Madeline had actively agreed to get treatment!

Anthony and Eliana were both embarrassed and furious, just about to speak again.

“Primo, Duo!” Noelle ordered coldly. “Throw them out.”

“Yes!”

Primo and Duo had been waiting for this moment.

As soon as the command was given, the two of them didn’t hesitate at all. One grabbed Anthony, the other grabbed Eliana, and they directly tossed them out the door.

Their movements were quick and clean, almost as if they were settling a personal grudge.

The couple landed hard on their butts.

With a loud bang, the door slammed shut, completely cutting them off outside.

The two of them struggled to their feet in embarrassment, just about to start cursing, when they saw Primo and Duo standing guard on either side of the door with cold and imposing faces.

Their words immediately got stuck in their throats.

“Hmph! If she won’t listen to us, she’ll regret it later!” Anthony shouted, dusting his sleeve in anger.

Eliana added in a sarcastic tone, “Exactly! I don’t believe that woman can really fix Madeline’s face! What if it only gets worse? It’s already unbearable to look at. Who knows how ugly it’ll get then! Hmph!”

Inside the room…

Noelle walked up to Madeline. She sat down at the edge of the bed and met her gaze. “Don’t be nervous. Let me touch your face, okay?”

Madeline was still scared. But since she had already agreed to be treated properly, she needed to be brave.

Her eyelashes trembled. She forcibly held back the urge to brush Noelle’s hand away and let her continue.

Yvette stood nearby, her heart racing with worry.

“Ms. Kain, how is it?” Seeing that Noelle hadn’t spoken yet, she couldn’t help asking first.

Noelle did a quick check of Madeline’s face and then checked her pulse. Hearing Yvette’s question, she pulled her hand back and said calmly, “It is a bit complicated.”

Yvette’s and Madeline’s hearts sank at the same time. A wave of despair flooded them. Could it be that it really couldn’t be cured?

“But it can be treated.” Noelle took out her needles and laid them out. The needles reflected a cold light under the lamp. “I’ll do one round of treatment and prescribe some medicine. That’ll do.”

Her tone was calm and casual.

So calm and casual that it sounded as if she were talking about what to eat for dinner.

Yvette and Madeline didn’t even react right away. When they finally realized what Noelle had said, Yvette’s voice was shaking as she spoke!

“M–Ms. Kain! Are you saying you can fix my sister’s face?”

Madeline also looked at her excitedly.

Noelle joked, “I’m Ms. Kain, not M–Ms. Kain.
