But neither of them was in a hurry.

They both understood this was the final battle. Whoever lost their patience first would lose their life.

Autumn steadied her breathing while thinking back to her previous life.

Marcella’s body jerked sideways. The bullet tore through her shoulder. Her entire right arm was ripped off.

A low cry of pain escaped her lips.
