Chapter 110 A False Accusation
Every time Autumn collected supplies for Leonel, she ended up shocked.
This time, she wasn’t.
She had finally gotten used to it.
One thing was clear-Leonel was amazing at running a household.
With the way he gathered supplies, he could have been a top military quartermaster in any time period.
As usual, Autumn started collecting. Everything Leonel had told her to take disappeared into her storage space.
After she finished, Autumn turned to leave.
She had only taken a few steps when she spotted Willa standing there with her huge pregnant belly, staring at her with suspicion. “Asher, what are you doing here?”
Autumn shot back, “Then what about you? You’re about to give birth, right? Why are you hanging around the warehouse? Planning to give birth in the warehouse?”
Willa glared at her. “Don’t play dumb with me. You’re here to steal supplies, aren’t you? I knew it. You’re young, but you’re already sneaky. You’re no good!”
Autumn pointed at herself in disbelief. “Me? Sneaky?”
“Hmph. You’re just taking advantage of your little relationship with Mr. Wright, and now you think you can do whatever you want?” Willa grew angrier with every word. “He may still be into you now, but he’ll get tired of you sooner or later. Killian is the one who really has his trust. He’s the one Mr. Wright truly relies on. The day he gets bored with you is the day he dumps you!”
The more Autumn listened, the more confused she became. “Hold on. What are you even talking about? What kind of relationship do you think Leonel and I have?”
“Still pretending?” Willa looked at Autumn with a mocking smile. “You’ve never been interested in women. You turned down every girl from our town. Isn’t it because you like men?”
Autumn scratched her head. “I like men. What’s so strange about that? If I liked women, that would be strange.”
“So you admit it!” Willa said smugly, as if she’d just proved her point. Holding her belly, she lifted her chin proudly and said, “I knew it. There’s definitely something going on between you and Mr. Wright.”
“Admit what?” Autumn looked even more confused. “Forget it. I’m not arguing with you. Believe whatever you want.”
With that, she turned to leave.
“You think you can just walk away?” Willa grabbed Autumn’s arm and said coldly, “Not until I’ve gotten you away from Mr. Wright!”
The moment she finished speaking, Willa suddenly screamed at the top of her lungs. “Help! Somebody help! This pervert is trying to assault me!” (2)
Autumn froze in shock.
