Reborn Cave Queen of the End Times novel Chapter 113

Chapter 113 Cast Out

Killian said in disgust, “Willa, you make me sick.”

Willa collapsed to the ground and clung to his leg, sobbing uncontrollably. “I’ll give you another child. No, two! As many as you want! You can’t throw me and my baby out. How are we supposed to survive?”

Killian kicked her away. “Since this child belongs to someone from Westfield Town, she should go back to her own people. Willa, our marriage is over.”

“No, you can’t do this to me! We had a wedding. We’re married. I’m not agreeing to a divorce!” Willa cried. “I already admitted I was wrong. What else do you want from me? Are you really going to push me this far? I’ve spent this entire marriage trying to make you happy. I took care of you, supported you, and did everything I could for this family. Maybe I wasn’t perfect, but I tried. And now you want to leave me right after I gave birth? What kind of husband does that?”

“I put up with you these past few days while you snapped at everyone and made this place miserable. You thought having my baby meant I could never leave you. You started demanding more supplies and even tried to send some of them to your family. The only reason I let it go was because you’d just given birth, your emotions were all over the place, and any added stress could have caused serious complications.” Killian’s voice was ice-cold. “You’ve recovered enough now, so stop trying to hold on to me and leave. The weather’s warmed up, so neither you nor the baby will freeze out there. Keep everything I gave you. Consider it compensation for the time we spent together. I don’t want any of it back.

“And don’t bother trying to make me feel sorry for you. I’ve never pretended to be a good man. If that baby were mine, I would’ve put up with anything for her sake. But she isn’t. Why should I let you make a fool of me and expect me to raise another man’s child? I’m not going to take that lying down.”

Willa shot back, “Then answer me this. There aren’t any hospitals left, so how could you possibly know she isn’t yours?”

Killian let out a disbelieving laugh. “You’re still denying it? Willa, did you really think Mr. Wright only traded for food and basic supplies? We have fully equipped medical facilities covering nearly every specialty. He sold off his entire fortune and poured the money into medical equipment before the disaster. A paternity test was easy.”

Willa’s pupils shrank violently.

She couldn’t believe what she was hearing.

What was Leonel thinking?

He had that much money, yet instead of buying food, he wasted it on a pile of useless machines.

No wonder the people of Westfield Town repeatedly tried to gather information and locate Leonel’s hidden food supplies, only to come up empty-handed.

It turned out he barely bought any food at all. He spent everything on machinery.

Willa was furious at his sheer stupidity.

Had she been Leonel, she would’ve stocked up on as much food as possible. Then later, she could’ve ded it for anything she wanted.

What Willa didn’t understand was that once the apocalypse began, collecting that kind of equipment would have been virtually impossible.

Many precision instruments had strict handling and storage requirements. Even a minor impact could render them useless.

That was the difference in the way they thought.

Killian sent Willa and the baby back to the hill occupied by Westfield Town.
