Reborn Cave Queen of the End Times novel Chapter 19

Chapter 19 Looting Time

It was around noon. The facility was quiet, with only a handful of guards left behind.

The surgeons, nurses, and clients usually arrived at night.

At this hour, the guards were all asleep.

That carelessness was exactly what Autumn had been counting on.

She tossed a grenade inside.

Boom!

The explosion blended perfectly with the chaos outside. Anyone who heard it would assume another meteor had struck the area rather than suspect sabotage.

By her calculations, the meteor shower would end in about 30 minutes. Time was running short.

She put on a gas mask, suited up in protective gear, and charged inside.

As she ran, she collected everything in sight.

It didn’t matter what it was for, or whether it had been used or not. She just took it all.

When she reached the last room, she discovered it was filled from floor to ceiling with vaccines.

There were vaccines for tetanus, cholera, plague, and all kinds of antivenom.

Autumn whistled happily and swept everything into her storage space without hesitation.

After collecting the final supplies, she was about to leave when she spotted a bodyguard with a shattered leg crawling toward the exit.

Well, well. She’d missed one.

That wouldn’t do.

Autumn pulled out a Barrett, aimed, and fired.

Then she carefully splashed gasoline into every corner of the facility, tossed in a flame, and the whole place erupted into a roaring inferno.

The fire blended seamlessly into the countless blazes already burning across the city.

After finishing everything, Autumn walked away without looking back.

The apocalypse had begun with skyfire, and it would end with skyfire.

This time, she had prepared more thoroughly than ever before. She would survive the final skyfire.

Just then, her phone rang.

It was David.

Autumn answered and only said, “I’m safe.”

Then she hung up.

She was busy.

There were still several more places she wanted to harvest.

Her third destination was a massive aquaculture farm outside Karthmoor.

In her previous life, the farm had been destroyed by the meteor-born skyfire.

Millions of tons of fish, shrimp, and crabs had died. Within three days, the entire place had become a mountain of rotting flesh and unbearable stench.

The skyfire had probably already hit the farm by now. But freshly killed seafood was still fresh.
