REBORN My Second Life I Became The Villianess novel Nysa and Dario Valteri Chapter 104
The hair and makeup team worked with practiced speed, curling my dark hair into soft, elegant waves that fell over my shoulders and applying makeup that made my violet eyes stand out against my skin. When they finally helped me slip into the million-dollar wedding gown, with its layers of delicate silk and glittering crystal embroidery, I caught my reflection in the large mirror. The dramatic sweetheart neckline, the sheer corsetry, and the long, sheer veil edged in matching lace made me look ethereal, straight out of a royal fairytale.
Once the final touches were finished, Ella and Bianca stepped into the room, both of them dressed in stunning matching gowns. They took one look at me and gasped, with Ella clapped her hands over her mouth and Bianca was grinning from ear to ear.
"You look breathtaking," Bianca whispered, stepping forward to help adjust the long, cascading chapel-length train of my dress.
"Come on, bride," Ella said, linking her arm through my left side while Bianca took my right. "Let's go get you married."
They led me out of the house and straight into the waiting car. Elena and the rest of the family had kept the exact location of the ceremony a secret from me the entire time, telling me to just trust them with the planning. So as the car rolled through the gates and finally pulled up to the venue, my breath caught in my throat.
The ceremony was being held at a breathtaking glass conservatory nestled deep within a private botanical garden, surrounded by towering ancient trees and manicured lawns. Large arched glass windows stretched up toward the high ceiling, allowing streams of soft afternoon sun to flood the space.
The car came to a smooth stop, and the driver hurried to open the door. Ella and Bianca escorted me inside, guiding me away from the main seating area and into a quiet private waiting room near the back.
My dad and my biological Dad, were already waiting inside for me.
Carlton looked up the second the door opened, his eyes going misty as he took in my dress and my veil. Pedro stood beside him, his expression softening with a quiet, genuine warmth.
Before I could say anything, the low, resonant strains of the string quartet playing outside signaled that the ceremony was about to begin. The doors to the inner room swung open just a fraction. Carlton stepped forward first, offering me his arm. I slid my hand into the bend of his elbow, and we stepped out into the aisle. Pedro walked down ahead of us, taking his spot about halfway down the long aisle lined with white rose petals.
Inside the grand hall was transformed into a lush, romantic wonderland. Thousands of ivory and blush roses, cascading wisteria vines, and hundreds of twinkling fairy lights were woven seamlessly through the iron framework and draped along every aisle, creating a glowing, magical atmosphere that felt entirely otherworldly.
Carlton walked me slowly toward him, the heavy silence of the room broken only by the soft, sweeping music. When we reached the halfway point, Carlton stopped and gently handed my hand over to Pedro. Before stepping back, Carlton leaned in close, his voice thick with emotion as he spoke just for the three of us. "I wasn't her biological father, but I raised her like my own flesh and blood. I wanted the absolute best for her, and even when I failed, I tried my hardest." Carlton said, which made tears filled my eyes.
Dad looked at Carlton, his face softening completely as he gave a firm, understanding nod. "I know, Carlton and I'm grateful for it, more than you'll ever know." Dad said.
Carlton smiled weakly, stepping back to watch.
