Ash wore Brooke’s tracksuit during the family reunion, a fog blue that highlighted her whole body.
Although it was sportswear, it was also a slim fit, which outlines her figure just right. With a sun hat, her long black hair was tied into a high ponytail, which made her look youthful and girly.
The color of Calvert’s clothes was the same, but in a lighter shade, and the two stood like a beautiful Victorian Era painting.
“Are we early?” She and Calvert arrived first because Brooke told her to come right away.
Calvert glanced at his wristwatch. “It’s not even ten o’clock. I think the others will arrive at around ten thirty.”
Ash nodded and said, “Well, it’s not like the Turner family lacks money. The rent of this venue is nothing for them.
“You want to walk around?” This was Ash’s first time here. The venue was huge with a small hunting ground at the front. There were also several leisure facilities such as a sauna and spa.
Calvert didn’t say a word. He tapped his chin in agreement and followed Ash to the hunting ground ahead.
“Are you good at shooting?” Ash looked at him sideways and asked lightly.
“Just so so.” He responded with a calm face, unable to tell if he was being humble or otherwise.
Ash glanced forward, and the entire shooting range was bright and open. It had standard equipment. “This place is pretty good. Do you know who owns this land?”
“What? You like it and want to buy it?”
Ash was slightly stunned. “Buy it? Mr. Snider, I think you think too highly of me. This hunting ground is located in the suburbs of Riverstone, at the intersection of the three cities. Forests, rivers, and mountains surround this place. Whoever owns it must be incredibly rich.
“This is a huge area, and I think it’s worth tens of billions of dollars. I don’t have that much money.” Ash analyzed lightly, “But if you want to sponsor me, feel free to do so.”
Calvert stood almost side by side with her. His thin lips pursed and he smiled faintly. “So in your eyes, I am rich and can take out billions of dollars casually?”
She nodded, “Isn’t it? As the head of the four major families of Riverstone, you should be able to do that.”
“You think highly of me. He looked away and smirked.
Since the Snider Group’s business sector has expanded overseas, Calvert’s net worth was among the best in the country Billions of dollars were nothing to him.
“Have you ever played shooting?” Calvert picked up the shotgun on the shelf, aimed it at the target 100 meters away, pulled the trigger, and hit the bullseye in one go.
Ash raised her eyebrows, “Is that what you say ‘so so?”
He still insisted on his point of view, “Well, average.
“You want to try?” Calvert handed her the gun. “You should be pretty good at it.”
Ash reached out and put it on the shelf again. “Nope, I won’t show you my shitty skills. It’s up to you to win my honor later

Calvert narrowed his eyes and looked at her with scrutiny. “Have you never done shooting before? Or are you just being low- key?”
She smiled. “Being too curious is not a good thing. Remember what you told me before? Curiosity kills the cat, and there is no point in being curious about me.”
Their solitude was interrupted. Ash exhaled slightly, took Calvert’s arm, and smiled sweetly. “Mr. Snider, please join the others inside.”
“Is it because they’re not married yet?” Someone tried to guess.

“We arrived not long ago and just went to the front for a walk. Will the others arrive around 10:30?” Ash knew her mother didn’t get along with some annoying relatives, so she used her body to push them away.
The other relatives were watching, and they were burning with envy. One of them slapped her son angrily and asked, “When will you get a girlfriend?”
