CHAPTER 205-1
Clara’s POV
Right before my eyes were four dark shapes standing at the foot of my bed. Tall, broad-shouldered, shirtless. Even in the dim moonlight, I could see the hard lines of their bodies, the way shadows played across their chests.
I must be dreaming.
I rubbed my eyes hard, blinking several times. When I opened them again, they were still there. Standing perfectly still like they’d appeared out of nowhere.
The moonlight from the window gave them an otherworldly glow, and their eyes… their eyes were different. Deeper, darker, burning with something that made my skin prickle.
My heart slammed against my ribs, and my breath caught in my throat.
This was impossible. I’d locked the door. This room was isolated. How had they gotten in?

“Clara,” one of them said, and I recognized Darius’s voice, though it sounded different somehow. Deeper, rougher.
“What the hell are you all doing here?” I demanded, sitting up and pulling the sheet around myself. “How did you get in? I locked the door.”
“We came to give you what you really want,” Killian said, stepping closer to the bed. His voice was smooth and confident.
“What I want?” I stared at them in disbelief. “What I want is for you all to get out of my room. Now.”
“Is it though?” Ronan asked, his eyes never leaving my face. “Because your body is telling us something different.”
I looked around at all of them, my anger building. “Are you serious right now? This is some kind of sick prank?”

My gaze landed on Darius, and fury shot through me. “And you! You’re part of this? What the hell is wrong
with you?”
“Clara-” Darius started.
“No!” I cut him off. “I can’t believe you would do this. Bring them here, to my private room, and try to… what
exactly? What were you thinking?”
“We were thinking,” Lucien said quietly, “that you’re tired of pretending.”
“Pretending what?”
“That you don’t want all of us,” Killian said with that infuriating smirk of his. “That you don’t think about
what it would be like.”

I felt heat rush to my face. “You’re all insane. Get out. All of you. Now.”
“We’re not going anywhere,” Ronan said firmly.

I turned back to Darius, my voice shaking with anger. “How could you do this? I’m your mate. I came here to get away from all this chaos, and you… you bring them to my room like I’m some kind of prize to be shared?”
“That’s not what this is about,” Darius said, his voice gentler than the others but still carrying that strange tone.
“Then what is it about? Because from where I’m sitting, this looks like four grown men playing some twisted game with a woman who just wants to sleep.”
“Sleep is overrated,” Killian said with a low chuckle.
“I’m serious,” I snapped at him, then looked back at Darius. “Make them leave. Right now. I need to sleep, and this… whatever this is… it ends now.”
But instead of ordering the others out, Darius stepped closer to the bed. “Maybe you should just relax, Clara. Let us take care of you.”
I don’t know how long I stared at Darius after those words left his mouth. I couldn’t blink nor breathe. The room suddenly felt too warm, the air too thick, my own body too traitorous.
I kept the sheet clutched to my chest, but I could feel it slipping, just slightly, as I leaned forward.
“You should leave,” I said, low and steady.
My voice didn’t shake. Not outwardly. But inside, everything trembled.
Darius didn’t flinch. He didn’t apologize. He just stared back at me, quiet, unreadable, like he was waiting for me to say what I actually meant instead of what I was pretending to feel.
