CHAPTER 205-2

I could hear my wolf stirring again. She had been quiet since I climbed into bed, but now her presence moved through me like a slow, measured pulse.

“You’re not angry they’re here. You’re angry you can’t pretend anymore.”

“They need to go,” I told her. “This isn’t the time. It’s not right.”

“It’s the perfect time. You’re horny and they’re here, willing to satisfy your urge. And you’ve wanted this for longer than you’ll admit.”

“I’m mated to Darius.”

“And he’s right there, ready to fuck you senseless. And he brought the others. You think that means he wants to stop them? You think he doesn’t know what you need better than you do? Look at them. Look at you. Your thighs are wet. Your heart is pounding. Your body already decided.”

closed my eyes for half a second.

That was my first mistake.

The heat behind my eyelids was worse than what I felt in the room. Every flash from the dinner table came roaring back-Killian’s smirk, Ronan’s stillness, Lucien’s eyes flicking toward me in silence. The mysterious fingers on my thighs, the teasing touches, the slow buildup, and the ache.

It was already here.

It had never left.

I opened my eyes again.

Darius was closer now. Sitting on the edge of the bed, near my feet. His expression hadn’t changed. He looked like he was waiting for something.

Like a man who’d already won but didn’t want to say it out loud.

“This isn’t fair,” I whispered.

“You’re right,” he said. “But neither is pretending you don’t want us.”

I hated the way the truth settled in my throat like warm honey. Too thick to swallow. Too sweet to spit out.

Killian moved next.

He didn’t ask.

He just dropped to his knees beside the bed, the way only someone confident in what he brought to the table ever would. His eyes never left mine even when his hand reached up and traced the edge of the blanket near my hip.

“You’ve been running since the moment we…” he drawled out. “You want control. You want to choose. So

choose. Tell us to go. Tell us it’s over.”

I could feel Lucien watching my face. I didn’t need to look to know that his eyes were locked on every shift in my expression.

But my voice didn’t come.

Because I didn’t want to say it.

Because they were right.

Because every part of me-every twitch of muscle, every beat of blood, every curl of breath-had been waiting for this.

And now that they were here, offering to fulfill any girl’s wildest dream, I couldn’t lie to myself anymore.

I let the sheet slip just a little.

Killian didn’t react right away. His gaze stayed steady.

But his hand moved.

He placed his palm gently against my thigh, warm and slow. Not demanding or rushed. Just a few soft touches that made me feel on cloud nine.

Darius’s hand slid over mine. Lucien moved to sit on the bed behind me, the mattress dipping as he came close enough that I could feel the heat of his body at my back.

Ronan stood quietly, his hands flexing slightly at his sides, watching everything with that calm, deep focus that made me wonder what he was thinking every second.
