Everyone stood there as if struck by lightning.

Yvette's lips curved into a smirk. Anything that made Willow miserable, she was more than happy to play along with.

Matthew froze for a few seconds. From Jabez's perspective, Matthew didn't know about the marriage.

By saying that out loud, Jabez was publicly announcing his marriage to Yvette.

He had kept their marriage hidden the entire time, but now that they had their divorce papers, he was suddenly willing to broadcast it.

"Don't worry, I'll definitely have a gift ready for you on our anniversary." As Yvette spoke, her gaze drifted directly to Willow.

Jabez and Willow got back into their car.

Willow sat in the passenger seat in complete silence. She held it in for as long as she could before finally snapping her head toward the man in the driver's seat.

"Jabez, didn't you guys divorce? Why are you still celebrating an anniversary together?"

"Sybil requested we return to the estate that day," Jabez answered unhurriedly.

Willow fell silent.

Sybil still didn't know about their divorce. She had always adored Yvette. Even before the divorce, she was constantly trying to push Jabez and Yvette closer together. It wasn't surprising she would make such a request.

Jabez was very filial. For the sake of his grandmother's health, he had no intention of telling her the truth just yet.
