Willow opened her mouth, wanting to demand an explanation, but Eleanor had already looked down at her files, clearly indicating the conversation was over.

She watched Diana leave, then stared at the package resting on the desk.

Pinching the edge, she had just cracked the lid open when the office door swung open.

"Ms. Huxley, Mr. Shelby is still in a meeting. He should be out in about ten minutes."

"I just got here myself."

Willow's gaze landed on the gift box in Corbin's hands. She smiled and asked, "What's that you have there?"

Corbin glanced down at the box. The only woman Mr. Shelby would personally pick out a gift for was Willow.

Without hesitation, he said naturally, "This is a gift Mr. Shelby picked out just for you. Would you like to open it?"
