The file was extensive and incredibly detailed, outlining two cases of misdiagnosis by Steven that had resulted in the patients' deaths.
One was five years ago, the other two years ago.
The case from two years ago involved a young, single woman. After her death, her mother was determined to seek justice, but other family members secretly accepted money from Steven, and the matter was dropped.
The victim from five years ago was a student who had just finished his exams. He had been an excellent student his whole life and had scored well enough to be accepted into a top-tier university. Before he even had a chance to enroll, he lost his life due to Steven’s negligence.
This student's parents were not ignorant people. They knew their son's death was suspicious and, after considerable effort, discovered it was Steven's misdiagnosis.
But before they could make it public, Steven used his connections to forcefully suppress the matter.
As Anastasia read on, she discovered that Queena had also been involved!
However, Queena had only stepped in two years ago. The couple had never given up their fight for justice, and two years prior, they had been on the verge of exposing Steven. But Queena had helped Steven, causing their efforts to fail once again.
Anastasia noted the couple's current address and went to find Harrison.
“Can you do me a favor?”
“What is it?” Harrison pushed his laptop aside and loosened his tie.
“I’d like to borrow a few people from your company’s legal department,” Anastasia said, batting her eyelashes at him playfully.
She rarely asked Harrison for help, so on the rare occasion she did, he couldn't possibly refuse. He was actually quite pleased, especially when her voice was so sweet.
He couldn't help but chuckle and shake his head. “Is that even a favor?”
“Of course it is! So, will you help me or not?”
“Yes, of course, I’ll help.” Harrison soothed her, pulling her into his arms. He was a little curious. “What do you need them for?”
She knocked on the door of 203. “Excuse me, are you Mrs. Hill?”
The person who opened the door was a weary-looking middle-aged woman. She paused, confused. “And you are?”
Anastasia discreetly studied the woman. According to the file, she was not yet fifty, but with a full head of white hair, she could have passed for over sixty.
Another man appeared behind her. Seeing Anastasia, whose attire and demeanor were completely out of place, along with the bodyguards behind her, his expression became guarded.
He, too, had a head of graying hair.
Clearly, the loss of their son had taken a heavy toll on the couple.
“Who are you looking for?” the man asked, moving forward to subtly shield his wife.
Anastasia acted as if she hadn't noticed. “Are you Spencer Hill's parents?”
