Chapter 111: The Man’s Revelation

Inside the quiet study, Foster kept his words to a minimum, feeling the weight of the moment. He moved toward the wall and activated the built-in screen, loading a video file. Soon, the soft, clear voice of a girl filled the room, calm and pure.

Sebastian fixed his gaze on the figure in the footage. Though the video was recorded at night and appeared somewhat grainy, the long, flowing hair that resembled seaweed and the elegant outline of the girl were unmistakable. How could he possibly mistake her identity?

What surprised him most, however, was the unexpected beauty of her singing voice. That little one—who had always seemed so distant—could actually sing with such grace.

Foster quickly outlined the situation, his tone edged with unease as he glanced nervously at Sebastian. “Would you like me to take care of this?”

Sebastian’s eyes never left the screen. His expression was intense, brows drawn together in concentration. “Since Skyreach Group has already blurred the footage, there’s no need for further action. Just ensure our people are watching over Lilian’s safety. Everything else—disregard it.”

“Understood, sir,” Foster replied promptly, then turned and left the study in a hurry.

Sebastian remained seated, eyes locked on the screen, a softness creeping into his gaze with each passing moment. It had been over two weeks since he last reached out to her. He’d been waiting, hoping she’d make the first move—but that cold-hearted little girl hadn’t called even once.

Pressing his fingers to his forehead, he let out a heavy sigh.

Still, he reminded himself, he had chosen this girl. No matter how toxic she was for him, he would continue to indulge her.

Meanwhile, in a quiet corner of her private space, a certain little heartless someone was deep in training.

“Hey, Little Mosquito, when do you think Mom will finish her cultivation?” Sunny asked, stretched out beneath a fruit tree, munching on a juicy piece of fruit. She glanced up at Blue, who was perched lazily on a branch above.

Blue shot a disdainful look downward. “She’s trying to break through to Level Nine. No clue how long that will take.”

So, the two of them—well, two spirit beasts—sat silently, watching Lilian as she trained in the center of the space.

Since reaching Level Eight, Lilian had sensed the spiritual energy within her body beginning to condense into a tangible form. The energy gathered gradually in her dantian, shaping itself. The more she absorbed, the lighter her body felt, until she finally reached her limit and withdrew her spiritual power.

When her eyes finally opened, Sunny immediately scrambled over. “You’re done at last!”
