Rewrite Her Thrilling Life (Lillian and Sebastian) novel Chapter 1132

"Go out for a walk where?" Morten said coldly. "Do you really think I cannot see through that little mind of yours? The moment you heard something happened to that man, you planned to run straight to him, didn't you?"

Triny bit her lip. "Yes. I want to go see how he is doing. After all, I am the one who caused him to end up like this. If something really happens to him, I will never have peace of mind for the rest of my life."

Morten walked down the stairs and looked at the girl by the door, his gaze frigid. "Don't you forget what you promised me. Since you refused to go abroad, you are to stay right here at home and go absolutely nowhere. Even if that man dies, it has nothing to do with you."

"Grandpa, I am begging you, just let me go see him. Just one look. As soon as I know he is safe and sound, I will come right back," Triny pleaded.

Morten's clouded eyes filled with deep disappointment. "See him? Where are you going to see him, and in what capacity? Or are you actually starting to believe you are Lilian now? Do you think Ravenwood Manor is a place you can just stroll into whenever you please? Let me tell you, you had better realize who you are. Even if you have that face, you are still a daughter of the Lindt family. Besides, you are the sole reason Sebastian is in this state today. Do you think Derrick and his wife will ever let you inside? They probably want nothing more than to kill you right now, yet you actually have the audacity to go."

Triny looked incredibly aggrieved, her expression turning thoroughly unsightly as she stared at Morten.

"What is going on here?" a voice called out from the entrance.

Triny felt her face burning with a stinging humiliation.

Leon looked at his daughter's expression and sneered. "Back then, you confidently swore up and down that you could definitely replace that woman, become his wife, and bring wealth and prosperity to our family. And what is the result? Even though you turned yourself into a carbon copy of her, that man still saw through you with a single glance. Do you know why? Because you and Lilian are entirely different to the core. The man loves her for who she is, not for this face. So you are going to stay right here at home, behave yourself, and stop going out to disgrace us." With that, he turned and walked straight upstairs.

Morten added, his face filled with utter disappointment, "If you dare step foot out of this house, don't ever come back. The Lindt family will act as though we never had you as a granddaughter. I already told you back when you agreed to carry out Renee's plan, the moment you walked out that door, you were no longer part of our family. Those words still stand today. If you think you have the capability, by all means, go ahead and leave." After delivering his ultimatum, he left the living room as well.
