Rewrite Her Thrilling Life (Lillian and Sebastian) novel Chapter 1133

Triny watched the two men walk away and stamped her foot in frustration. If she could not leave the house, what was she supposed to do? She absolutely had to find out what was going on with that man right now.

Suddenly, a particular name crossed her mind. She pulled out her phone and dialed the number without a second thought.

A moment later, the call went through.

"Who is this?"

Hearing the voice on the other end, Triny quickly spoke up, "Ariana, it is me, Triny."

Ariana paused for a fraction of a second before letting out a cold laugh. "Oh, it is that poor imitation, Triny. I wonder what business you could possibly have calling me today."

Triny felt a wave of profound awkwardness, and her expression grew unnatural. "Ariana, are you really never going to forgive me? We used to be so close."

"Save it," Ariana said, her voice dropping into a chilling coldness. "You had better not address me so intimately, considering we have absolutely no connection anymore. As for the past, do not even bring it up to me. It only serves to remind me of all the incredibly stupid things I used to do. Back then, I genuinely treated you as a friend, but what about you? You merely treated me as a convenient pawn to be used. In the end, because of you, I even ended up hurting my own family. So do not talk to me about the past, it only makes me despise you even more. If you actually want something, just spit it out, otherwise I am hanging up."

The mere thought of the things she had done back then just to help Triny filled Ariana with a wave of bitter regret. She had honestly wanted to support her, yet Triny had only ever exploited her, a realization that still made her grind her teeth in pure fury.

Triny took a deep, steadying breath. "I am sorry. I apologize for everything that happened in the past. But Ariana, I truly did see you as a friend back then, I swear to you."

"You can take your care and shove it. What right do you have to care about Sebastian, and in what capacity? Or do you honestly believe that because you turned your face into a carbon copy of Lilian, you are suddenly Sebastian's fiancée? Stop living in a fantasy world. Even if you look exactly like Lilian, Sebastian will never fall for you. I am very busy right now, goodbye." With that, she hung up the phone immediately.

Triny stared at her darkened screen, her eyes flashing with pure rage. Not only had she failed to gain a single shred of useful information, but she had also been subjected to a thoroughly agonizing humiliation. The sheer unfairness of it left her seething.

Meanwhile, back at the old Foster family estate, inside the lounge area.

Ruby looked at her daughter, who was sitting on the adjacent sofa with a thoroughly infuriated expression, and asked, "Was that Triny?"

"Yes," Ariana said with deep resentment. "She actually had the nerve to call and ask about Sebastian's condition. Can you believe the audacity of that woman? If it weren't for her, Sebastian would never have been put in danger in the first place. And if it weren't for her, Lilian wouldn't be completely missing with her life hanging in the balance right now. She is nothing but a total curse. How could I have been so utterly blind back then not to see what a cold blooded, ruthless monster she really was?"
