At that moment, Foster entered the room briskly, his footsteps echoing sharply on the floor. He leaned in close to Sebastian, speaking in a hushed tone, “Sir, they’ve confessed.”

Sebastian’s eyes hardened instantly. He shot a final glance toward the direction Lillian had taken before speaking calmly, “Let’s go. I want to see it with my own eyes.”

Inside the women’s changing area, Lillian emerged after changing her clothes, only to find Noreen casually propped against the doorway. She was dressed in a vivid red swimsuit that hugged every contour of her body perfectly. The bold color made her fair skin appear almost luminous, drawing attention effortlessly.

“Looking for something?” Lillian asked coolly.

Noreen’s gaze narrowed, her eyes sharp and burning with undisguised hatred. Since the moment Lillian had shown up, Noreen hadn’t known a single peaceful second. Every time she imagined Sebastian and Lillian together, a fierce rage bubbled inside her, urging her to tear the other woman apart piece by piece. “Lillian,” Noreen said, her voice tight and strained, “do you realize how much I despise you?”

Lillian’s face remained unflinching, her expression unreadable. She gave a casual nod. “Of course. Plenty of people hate me. You being one of them doesn’t really change anything.”

Noreen clenched her fists so tightly her nails dug into her palms, struggling to suppress the furious emotions clawing their way up her throat.

“I’ve known Sebastian since we were kids. We practically grew up side by side. I’ve been by his side for years, but because of you, everything’s different now.”

Her voice cracked under the weight of her feelings as she pressed on, “He’s distant, cold—like I don’t even exist anymore. He won’t even glance in my direction. And it’s all your fault.”

“You think you’re special? You’re nothing but an unwanted orphan. What right do you have to compete with me? To claim his love?”
