Rewrite Her Thrilling Life (Lillian and Sebastian) novel Chapter 511

**TITLE: The Billionaire’s Last Obsession series 511**
**CONTENT: Chapter 511 Laney’s Leverage**

On that particular Friday, Lillian made the decision to leave school earlier than usual. The sun hung low in the sky, casting long shadows across the pavement as she ambled along the roadside, her mind swirling with a vague sense of unease. It was as if a cloud had settled over her thoughts, obscuring whatever it was that troubled her. Instead of waiting for Unno, she chose to slip away, seeking solace in her own company.

Suddenly, the sharp blare of a car horn jolted her from her reverie. She turned her head to see a sleek black business van glide to a stop beside her. The window slid down, and there he was—Randall, his strikingly handsome face framed by the vehicle’s interior.

“Long time no see,” he said, a charming smile playing on his lips.

Lillian furrowed her brow in confusion, her heart racing slightly. “What are you doing here?” she asked, her voice laced with curiosity.

Randall leaned back casually in his seat. “Just wrapped up an event and was heading back when I happened to spot you wandering around all alone. I thought I’d stop and say hello.” He pushed the door open invitingly. “Come on, since fate has brought us together, let’s catch up. Just two old friends, nothing more.”

Without giving it much thought, Lillian found herself climbing into the car, the door closing behind her with a soft click.

Meanwhile, at Empire Group, Laney stood confidently at the reception desk, her posture straight and her gaze unwavering. “I want to see Mr. Sebastian,” she declared, her voice steady. After class, she had come straight here, her heart racing with anticipation. Ever since that fateful night, she had been convinced that he harbored feelings for her as well. She had made up her mind to win his heart, no matter what it took.

“Do you have an appointment?” the receptionist inquired politely, her tone professional.

“No,” Laney replied, her determination unwavering. “But tell him I’m Laney. He’ll see me.”

The receptionist hesitated, her expression turning uneasy. “I’m sorry, but without an appointment, I can’t let you through. Mr. Sebastian is currently occupied with important clients. If it’s urgent, you can always call him.”

Laney’s face stiffened at the mention of a phone call. She didn’t have his number, and the thought of being turned away stung her pride.

At that moment, the elevator doors swung open, and out stepped Sebastian, flanked by a group of middle-aged men, all engrossed in deep conversation.

Laney’s heart leaped at the sight.

They made their way outside, where a chauffeur stood patiently, the car door already open. One of the men chuckled, “It’s been a pleasure talking with you today, Mr. Sebastian. I believe our partnership will be mutually rewarding.”
