Rewrite Her Thrilling Life (Lillian and Sebastian) novel Chapter 662

**Chapter 662: Nicholas’s Ending 3**

Nicholas stood there, his jaw clenched tight, a storm of emotions swirling within him. “Lilian,” he growled, his voice low and fierce, “if I don’t catch you today, this hatred festering in my heart will never find peace.” The weight of his words hung heavy in the air, a promise tinged with desperation.

Lilian, with an air of innocence that belied her cunning, flashed a smile. “Then you’ll have to catch me first,” she teased, her eyes sparkling with mischief. In a swift motion, she snatched a container filled with a vibrant red liquid from the table and hurled it towards the men clad in black. They reacted quickly, dodging to the side as the container shattered against the floor, splattering the liquid everywhere like a gruesome painting.

Nicholas’s frustration boiled over, his voice rising to a roar. “Useless fools! Grab her!” His command echoed off the walls, a desperate plea for action.

Meanwhile, outside the cave, Sebastian and his team had finally located the entrance, hidden from the world. The air was thick with anticipation as Fawks scrutinized the well-concealed opening. “Are you absolutely certain the scent vanished here?” he questioned, his tone laced with urgency.

A man in a green uniform nodded confidently. “Yes, this has to be the place. We’ve combed through three different routes, and they all converged here. This is definitely it.”

Fawks exchanged a glance with Sebastian, a silent agreement passing between them. “Then let’s not waste any more time. We need to go in,” he said, determination etched on his face as he stepped into the darkness of the cave.

As they ventured deeper, they soon encountered a sturdy iron door, firmly locked.

“Open it,” Fawks commanded one of his men, his voice leaving no room for dissent.

Inside the lab, chaos reigned. The room was a wasteland of destruction; men in black lay scattered on the floor, and the researchers huddled in a corner, trembling in fear.

Nicholas’s expression twisted with rage as he glared at Lilian. “You dare to obliterate my life’s work!” he spat, each word dripping with venom. “Very well. You’ve pushed me to my limit. Now, you shall pay the price!” With that, he launched a vicious kick in her direction.

Lilian barely managed to evade him, her heart racing. She hadn’t anticipated that this old deviant would possess such agility. They danced around each other, each strike and dodge a testament to their fierce wills. But as the minutes passed, Lilian began to feel the weight of exhaustion creeping in; she had already expended some of her energy in this deadly game.
