**Chapter 664: The Confession**
Lilian let out a heavy sigh, her heart racing as she turned to face the man standing before her. His gaze was penetrating, filled with a mixture of curiosity and concern. “It’s not that I don’t want to tell you,” she began, her voice steady yet tinged with hesitation, “but I honestly don’t know where to start. The truth is just too incredible to comprehend.”
She took a moment to gather her thoughts, steeling herself for what she was about to reveal. “But since I made a promise to you about being honest, I will share my truth. Just… please don’t be too taken aback.” Rising from her seat, she gently pulled down the fabric covering her shoulder. The air seemed to thrum with anticipation as a faint glow illuminated the blue Netherworld Flower resting against her chest.
Sebastian’s eyes widened in disbelief, his voice barely a whisper. “That’s…?”
In a fluid motion, Lilian lifted her clothes back into place, her demeanor calm despite the gravity of her revelation. “This is a Netherworld Flower. The key my mother left me… I actually stabbed it into my chest. I never imagined that, by some twist of fate, it would grant me access to the Netherworld Space. That’s how I was reborn. And this flower appeared as a result.”
“Netherworld Space?” Sebastian echoed, confusion etched across his features.
With a flick of her wrist, Lilian conjured a scroll painting into existence, the colors swirling with a life of their own. She flipped it once, and just like that, the image disappeared into thin air. “Do you understand now? It means I can store items within my body at will. The space is reminiscent of Ravenwood Manor, filled with pavilions, countless books, and even a space spirit pet—a little fox you’ve seen. I’ve also cultivated some medicinal herbs there.”
Sebastian’s expression morphed into one of astonishment. “So, that’s why Nicholas mentioned your blood being special?”
“Yes,” Lilian replied, her voice steady. “My body has been refined by a purification spirit pool within that space. Ordinary toxins barely affect me at all.”
Sebastian’s disbelief deepened. “But what about your two-year coma…?”
Lilian’s tone turned flat, devoid of emotion. “Richard took me to Myanmar to search for a jade mine. He was convinced there was high-grade jade to be found, but his efforts fell short; he wasn’t digging deep enough. The finest part of the mine was merely one layer below the surface.”
