Chloe was unconvinced. “But no matter what, she’s still a blood relative of the Sinclair family. There is no principle for a daughter to disown her father. Even more unexpectedly, this Miss Madison actually sold Merrick’s biological daughter. Do you think Merrick would still allow her to stay in the Philips family?”

Renee looked at the smile on Morten’s face. “It seems Father is quite happy that my plan isn’t going smoothly.”

Morten stood up, his expression calm.
