Lilian’s expression brightened at her friend’s excitement. “Karina, breathe. I already know. Sebastian’s team just got the same results.”

Lilian considered it for a moment. “Not yet. I want to wait until I’ve gathered every single thing the Sorens have done lately. I’m going to settle every score at once.”

“Exactly,” Lilian agreed. “Now isn’t the time to play that card.”

“Then what do we do next?” Karina asked.

“We call a press conference,” Lilian said, her voice steady and calm. “A nationwide live broadcast. I want every person who posted those slanderous threads invited to the front row for a face–to–face confrontation. And then, we file a formal lawsuit against Soren Corp.”

Karina sounded relieved. “Understood. I’m on it.”

For days, the team at Skyreach had been grit their teeth in fury, watching the lies spread while they were. forced to stay silent. The thought of finally hitting back made Karina let out a long, satisfied breath.

After hanging up, Sebastian looked at Lilian, his gaze lingering on her. “Are you absolutely sure about the press conference? It means putting everything out there, your entire history in front of the whole country.”

Lilian gave him a faint, weary smile. “Do I even have secrets anymore? Everything I wanted to keep private has already been dragged into the light, and in the worst way possible. I’d rather tell the story myself and let the public judge the truth. I have nothing to be ashamed of.”

Sebastian’s eyes softened with a mix of admiration and concern. “I’m with you. And don’t worry about the Sorens. I have enough dirt on Rowan to finish him. We’ll handle it all at the same time.”

Lilian looked at him, curious. “Where did you get leverage on Rowan?”

“Janus,” Sebastian said, his voice dropping to a low, resonant hum. “He wants me to take Rowan out of the picture so he can secure the inheritance for himself.”
