Reborn: Apocalypse Ready, War Goddess by My Side
Chapter 615 A Humiliating Loss
It was hard to imagine just how strong Steven had become.
And the craziest part was that he still had plenty of hidden abilities he hadn’t used yet.
The fight had been completely one-sided.

For the rest of Ashen, that was great news. Having someone like Steven on their side made them feel much safer.
Bianca’s eyes curved with happiness. That was the Steven she liked.
Fiona fell silent. Would she ever have a chance to catch up to him in this lifetime?
Even Alan didn’t know what to say. Steven really was stronger than him now.
Steven looked down at Kenneth. “Can I ask you something? Where did all that confidence go?”
Kenneth no longer had his usual calm expression. His eyes were filled with anger and hatred.
“Cough… cough…”
He coughed up blood before forcing out the words. “You’re Five-Sigil! You were never Four- Sigil!”
Steven gave a cold laugh.
“You finally figured it out? A little late for that. I warned you a long time ago. What happened with your brother was nothing. I could’ve killed him, but I let him walk. That was already more respect than you deserved.
“But
you
still came after me over something so trivial. How’s that working out for you?”
Steven looked down at him. “How does it feel being the one on the ground?”
Kenneth burned with humiliation. How could he have lost to someone who had only gone through Divine Awakening this year?
How?
He refused to accept it.
He began reaching for the power hidden deep inside his Divine Sigil.
IT
ew malicious.

Just then, Alan’s voice rang out.

“Steven, that’s enough. Let them go.”
Steven heard him. But for a split second, he thought he had sensed something stirring inside Kenneth’s Divine Sigil.
A dangerous light flashed in Steven’s eyes. He snorted. “You really think you’re some kind of genius, don’t you?”
Steven flicked his spear upward and sent Kenneth flying toward Dexter and Miles.
“Take him and get the fuck out of here.”
Kenneth struggled to his feet. Standing on his own was the last bit of pride he had left. He gave Steven one long, cold look before turning away.
Dexter and Miles also stared at Steven and the others. Their faces were filled with frustration.
They were Ten Divine Generals, yet they had still lost to Alan and Steven.
They had never experienced a defeat this crushing before.
Back in Orroux, countless people admired and looked up to them.
Yet today, they had been thoroughly beaten by a squad that wasn’t even listed on the Awakened Squad Rankings.
It was beyond embarrassing.
Kenneth’s expression darkened. This was the worst defeat of his life.
The Polaris members left with their heads down.
But deep inside Kenneth, his desire for revenge had reached a new peak.
He could never allow news of this humiliation to reach Orroux.
Once Polaris disappeared into the distance, the Ashens finally cheered.
“Steven, that was amazing!”
