Chapter 691 A Legend Is Born
ah, Alan said. “We need to move. Let’s get out of here and regroup with the others.”
Steven nodded firmly. “Let’s go.”
Bianca was already extremely weak.

“Don’t worry,” she said. “The people outside should still be unconscious from my attack. I’ve reached my limit too. I can’t fully control the sword yet, so you two will have to get us out of here. We need somewhere
safe to recover.”
Steven looked at Alan. “Sorry I didn’t leave Darby for you.”
Alan shook his head. “He’s dead. That’s all that matters. My revenge is done either way. We’re teammates
Steven smiled and nodded. “Then let’s go.”
Alan and Logan exchanged a glance. They each supported one of them and took off at full speed, racing out of Heavenspire Peak.
The sooner they left, the better.
Once the four of them escaped the mountain, they didn’t stop for anything. They kept moving as fast as they could.
A cool breeze brushed across Steven’s face, and a faint smile appeared on his face.
That was close, but we made it.
Steven glanced around. He spotted several members of the Awakened Squad, along with soldiers from the Celestial Army. They were still unconscious, but they would probably wake up soon.
Steven sighed inwardly. He could hardly believe the battle was finally over.
It had been brutal. He was so exhausted that he didn’t even want to move.
Still, it had all been worth it.
Bianca had obtained the Ember Sacred Sword. For now, no one should be able to guess that she had it.
Steven had a feeling the way Bianca obtained the sword in this life was slightly different from what had happened in his previous life.
But the important events had remained the same.
Bianca had finally begun to show the brilliance she was destined for.
Her performance in this battle had been unbelievable.
As a Four–Sigil Divine Knight, she had fought a Six–Sigil Divine King head–on.
That alone was enough to make her a legend.

Chapter 691 A Legend Is Born
Nothing had ever happened in the history of Draconia.
Even Steven had never accomplished such a feat.
Bianca was destined to become a legend who would stand above everyone else.
All Steven needed to do was protect her path forward. He would remove the dangers waiting for her. And then there was that traitorous marshal…
Still, the greatest prize from this trip was undoubtedly the Ember Sacred Sword.
Steven felt completely satisfied.
Cloudspire soon appeared in the distance.
Steven suddenly looked at Logan. “When Bianca crushed that werewolf earlier, what exactly did you yell? Did you call her your boss and start cheering like some fanboy?”
Logan immediately shook his head.

“Come on, Mr. Fisher. Do you seriously think that little of me? I’m not interested in being anyone’s lapdog. You heard me wrong. I said everyone was watching because she was amazing! You definitely left out the ‘everyone was watching‘ part.”
“Did I?”
“You definitely did.”
Steven chuckled. “Sure. Whatever you say.”
Logan continued, “I’m a spoiled rich kid, remember? Asking me to call you my boss is a little much. I’m supposed to be your teammate.”
He grinned. “How about this? I respect you. You somehow managed to get yourself such a beautiful and talented girlfriend. I’ll call you my bro, and I’ll just call her Bianca from now on. Fair?”
“You little punk… Are you trying to steal my girlfriend?”
“Absolutely not! I swear! I really do respect you!”
All four of them laughed as they continued on their way.
The soldiers and the surviving members of the Awakened Squad gradually regained consciousness.
Everyone looked completely confused.
Once their memories returned, however, fear still lingered in their hearts.
Cayden, Heath, and the others didn’t hesitate.
They immediately rushed back into Heavenspire Peak.

Chapter 691 A Legend Is Born
But when they reached the underground world filled with lava, their expressions darkened.
Everything turned silent.
The sea of flames was gone.
The stone platform in the center was completely empty.
There wasn’t a single person in sight.
And the sword fragment was gone.
Cayden was so furious he nearly coughed up blood.
He had lost an incredible opportunity just like that.
“Darn it!”
He had been given high hopes for this mission.
They had even supplied him with several devastating weapons, and he still hadn’t used the strongest one. But the sudden eruption of flames had caught him completely off guard.
Fuck!
If only I had known. The moment the sword released those flames, I should have used my ultimate weapon and wiped out everyone there.
