Chapter 351 The Submerged Registry
Baron’s POV

The depth monitor on the center console shifted from emerald green to a deep cobalt blue as the interceptor cleared the continental shelf.
Beneath us, the Atlantic floor vanished.
One moment there had been structure.
The next. there was nothing but a vast black trench swallowing the ocean floor whole, stretching for leagues beneath the hull like an open grave.
The interceptor sliced through the dark water at full speed, its carbon–fiber frame shuddering every time it slammed against the crest of a wave.
My attention remained fixed on the glowing radar signature ahead.
THE SOVEREIGN LEVIATHAN.
Even from this distance, the vessel looked monstrous.
Thirty thousand tons of steel and deception carving through the Atlantic night.
Its upper decks glittered with warm golden lights that made it resemble a luxury liner drifting peacefully through international waters.
To any civilian registry, that was exactly what it appeared to be.
But the deeper Renee dug into its systems, the uglier the truth became.
Military suppression grids.
Reinforced containment sectors.
Hidden transport routes.
Lower decks built for prisoners instead of passengers.
The Sovereign Leviathan wasn’t a cruise ship.
It was a floating prison wrapped in expensive paint.
My fingers tightened around the steering controls.
The thermite burns covering my hands had split the skin into blackened ridges.
Blood leaked from reopened wounds every time I flexed my grip, staining the leather wrap beneath my palms.

Chapter 351 The Submerged Registry
Raze hasn’t had the time to heal me… I didn’t mind anyways.
I didn’t feel any of it.
The only sensation I could focus on was the faint vibration humming through my ribs.
Natalie.
The mate bond hadn’t disappeared.
The suppression systems on the flagship were trying.

Every pulse they released slammed against our connection, attempting to smother her frequency beneath layers of interference. But they couldn’t sever it completely.
The bond remained.
I could still feel her.
She was there… Allowing them to guide her exactly where she wanted to go.
The fools onboard the Leviathan thought they were processing cargo.
What they had actually done was escort a Frost Scribe directly into the heart of their operation.
“Alpha, the maritime vanguard has achieved perfect acoustic alignment.”
Flynn’s voice cut through the darkness.
I glanced toward the co–pilot station,
He sat there cleaning the firing assembly of his heavy kinetic cannon with slow, deliberate precision.
His grey eyes never left the tactical display.
“Report.”
“Four unbranded Blackridge gunboats have assumed positions beneath the flagship’s quarter wake. Radar absorbent systems are holding. No signature leakage. No exchange visibility. The moment Natalie sends the signal token, we can execute a synchronized strike on the steering trunk within sixty seconds.”
“And the councils?”
A grim smile crossed Flynn’s face.
“They’re chasing ghosts.”
I felt my own mouth twitch.
Good.

Renee’s false signatures had done exactly what they were designed to do.

“The northern councils are still tracking phantom vectors through the southern canyon routes.” Flynn continued. “They’re drafting injunctions for a warehouse that no longer exists. By the time they realize. where we are, the Leviathan will already be sinking.”
Exactly as planned.
I dragged my bleeding palm across the biometric scanner and opened a direct line to Grant Internationa
*Renee.”
Her response arrived instantly.
“Alpha.”
“Update.”
A burst of rapid keyboard clicks echoed through the receiver.
“The vessel remains registered under Horizon Logistics. Shell structure. Maritime laundering network. However, I’ve completed the ownership trace.”
More typing.
Faster this time.
“Sixty percent of the funding routes back to accounts connected to members of the Southern High Council,”
The answer didn’t surprise me.
It merely confirmed what I had already suspected.
“They’re using Natalie.”
“Correct.”
Another series of clicks followed.
“The third phase of foreclosure has already begun… Commercial assets are frozen. Credit lines are failing at approximately four hundred thousand units per minute.
I stared at the glowing silhouette of the Leviathan..
“Keep going.
“I intend to.”
“I don’t want anything left.”

A pause.
Then:
“There won’t be.”
A strangled sound crupted from the lower companionway.
The noise sliced through the cabin’s silence like a blade.
I didn’t need to look back to know who it was.
Jensen.
Flynn rose from his seat and planted a heavy boot against the iron security box bolted to the reinforced floor.
The metal groaned beneath the impact.
Inside. Jensen’s breathing immediately escalated into panicked wheezing.
“Baron!”
His voice cracked.
The arrogant southern prince who had strutted through council chambers and hidden behind contracts
was gone.
Whatever remained inside that box was a terrified man watching his world collapse around him one
account at a time.
“Baron, please!”
His fists pounded weakly against the iron walls.
“The terminal is burning me… they’re taking everything…”
I closed the communication line with Renee and stepped away from the helm.
The interceptor maintained its pursuit automatically as I crossed the cabin.
Each step echoed heavily against the steel floor.
Jensen heard them.
I knew he did because his breathing grew faster with every footfall.
By the time I stopped in front of the security box, he was practically hyperventilating.
The ventilation slits revealed nothing but darkness.

I didn’t open it
I didn’t need to.
Fear was already doing the work for me.
“Loretta is watching her screens right now.”
Silence.
Then a shaky inhale.
I crouched slightly, lowering my voice.
“My stepmother is sitting comfortably in her estate while every asset she has hidden behind shell corporations is being stripped away.”
Another thud came from inside the box.
“Baron…”
“She is watching warehouses disappear from her ownership records.”
I let the words settle.
“Watching accounts freeze!”
Another pause.
“Watching property lines vanish.”
The scratching started.
Weak fingernails scraping against iron.
“Please…”
“Watching decades of stolen wealth dissolve into red numbers/
His breathing hitched.
The panic in his scent thickened.
Every foreclosure token Renee executed wasn’t simply hurting Loretta.
It was feeding directly into the feedback loop tied to Jensen’s terminal.
Every loss translated into another electrical surge.
Another shock

Another reminder that his life was hanging by a thread.
TII tell you everything.”
The words came out broken.
“I’ll give you council records. Private vault access. Offshore registries. Pack secrets. Anything
I remained silent.
Inside the box, he continued rambling.

“I can prove what Loretta did. I can expose the treaty. I can give you the names of everyone involved.”
My expression never changed.
Finally, I spoke.
“You still don’t understand.”
The scratching stopped.
“You think this is about information.”
Silence.
“You think this is a negotiation.”
I placed a hand on top of the box.
The metal trembled beneath my grip.
“You brought silver into my clearing.”
The cabin seemed to grow colder.
“You helped them target my mate.”
No response.
Only ragged breathing.
“You made my children sleep behind defensive barriers.”
The words came out softer than before.
Far more dangerous.
Behind me. Flynn remained completely silent.
Even he understood what those words meant.
