Chapter 74 Bloodline Revelation
Baron’s POV
I moved frantically, examining Natalie’s vitals and every inch of the high–tech bed.

I checked the air filtration sensors, the IV ports, and the seal of the room. Only when the internal scanners confirmed there was no lingering trace of the cloying, sweet sleeping incense did I finally let out a long, ragged breath.
She was safe… For now.
Just as I began to settle the surgical tray, the extractor tool I was still gripping gave a soft, melodic beep.
I froze.
That sound was a notification… a “Completion” tone.
I instinctively looked down at the digital display on the handle of the device.
I stared at the readout in total disbelief, my brain struggling to process the string of data scrolling across the interface.
[BIO–MATCH IDENTIFIED: 99.9% COMPATIBILITY]
“What the hell?” I whispered, my voice sounding hollow in the quiet room.
There were still microscopic remnants of Natalie’s initial skin sample stored in the device’s internal reservoir; I had intended to collect a fresh one today to recalibrate the donor search.
But the machine was already telling me the search was over… It had found a perfect match.
I looked around the room quickly, my eyes darting like a predator’s.
That’s when I saw her.
Yvonne was starting to stir in the chair just outside the threshold. She was rubbing her face, her movements sluggish, but it was the back of her left hand that caught the light.
Blood was trickling from the fresh cut, a small but clearly the perfect match.
I vaguely recalled the sensation of brushing past her in my blind panic to reach Natalie.
The tool must have engaged automatically upon contact with live tissue.
I looked from the blood on Yvonne’s hand to the green light on the machine.
My heart gave a violent, sickening thud.
Yvonne?

Chapter 74 Bloodline Revelation
The universe seemed to tilt on its axis… Sean was Natalie’s biological son.
His test result had been sabotaged by the blue toxin, but I had absolute confidence in that bond.
But Yvonne?
Yvonne and Natalie had no known familial relationship.

Yvonne was a soldier, a loyal subordinate I had recruited years ago. Natalie was a designer, the “Keeper” from a different world entirely. How could their skin samples match with such terrifying precision?
99 percent? That’s scientifically impossible.
And more importantly–how had the tool completed the match so quickly? Usually, the algorithm for non–related donors took hours of cross–referencing.
But this happened in seconds… In my field, such speed meant only one thing.
That could only happen if the two samples belonged to direct blood relatives.
But how could Yvonne and Natalie be directly related?
I was stunned, rooted to the spot as the implications began to tear through my mind.
Yvonne finally blinked her eyes open, noticing me staring at her, and shot to her feet, her face flushing with shame.
“Alpha, I didn’t mean to fall asleep! I don’t know what happened; I just… I was watching the monitor, and then everything went black.”
As she spoke, I saw a flicker in her eyes.
“Who was here?” I pulled myself out of the shock of the DNA match, my voice cold and focused.
Yvonne hesitated, her fingers grazing the cut on her hand. “Susie came by. She said she wanted to talk to Natalie… she wanted to blow on her wounds. But she’s just a child. She didn’t do anything.”
I narrowed my eyes. Susie? My daughter was many things, but innocent?
“Was there anyone else?”
“Before Susie, Finn came by to ask me something. I already told you about that… He was acting… strange.”
The incident with the blue powder in Sean’s bed already had Finn’s fingerprints all over it. And now, the security of Natalie’s sterile room had been breached.
Could Finn really be targeting both her and the children? My chest felt tight.
The man I called brother

looking more like an assassin with every passing hour.
I waved a hand, dismissing her apology for now. “I’ll look into the breach. I’ll examine you in a bit—just to
