One kitchen was downstairs, the other upstairs, and each team kept their own livestream running

Hannah was at the stove, cooking up a storm, while the other three handled the prep-washing and chopping all the ngredients.

The four of them kept up a lively banter, laughing and joking around, and the whole place was filled with a cheerful laid- back vibe.

After the four of them walked into the kitchen, Jett wasted no time-he threw an arm around Caleb as soon as Caleb set lown the basket and hauled him right back out.

That left just Nicole and Nicolas alone in the kitchen.

Nicolas tried to slip out too.

But Nicole looked over at him and said. “Nicolas, could you help me wash the veggies?”

Nicolas didn’t want to deal with her, so he just said flatly. “I don’t know how.”

Nicole was stumped. “Just rinse them with water.”

Nicolas’s impatience showed. “I said I don’t know how.

It’s not much, just wash and cook it yourself.

I’d just mess things up if I stuck around.”

With that, he turned and strode out of the kitchen.

This time, he made it crystal clear he wanted nothing to do with Nicole.
