Chapter 231

Chapter 231

Four hours later, Alicia and Jason arrived at the hospital.

Seeing Jason accompany Alicia, the Hammond brothers felt a mix of emotions.

They hadn’t expected Alicia and Jason to be so close.

Kevin and the other two greeted her, “Ally, you’re here.”

Alicia ignored them and looked at Diana’s assistant, who had come to pick her up. he?”

“Where is

The assistant pointed to the hospital room in front of the three brothers. “In this one.”

She walked up and knocked on the door. Diana opened it.

Seeing Alicia, she forced a smile. “Ally, you’re here. Must’ve been tough for you to come so

late.”

She stepped aside. “Come in.”

Alicia just nodded to Diana and wheeled Jason into the hospital room.

Seeing Jason show up with Alicia so late, Diana couldn’t help but sigh to herself, ‘Looks like my son doesn’t stand a chance anymore.

This time, the three Hammond brothers trailed in after them, and Diana didn’t bother to

kick them out.

Alicia paused, taken aback as she looked at Nicolas lying on the bed, his face an alarming shade of red-purple, completely out cold.

She walked over, checked his eyes, then felt for his pulse.

Her suspicions were confirmed-Nicolas had been hit with the exact same drug that Jett had used on her in her previous life.

Who was it that gave Jett that drug?

‘Was it that legendary healer who cured Jett, or someone else entirely?’ she mused.

Back in her previous life, Jett hadn’t even tried to cover his tracks-she’d caught on almost instantly.

Now, Alicia couldn’t help but suspect he’d done it deliberately.

‘But in this life, why would he hand that drug over to Nicole, and make Nicolas drink it?’ she

thought, confusion swirling in her mind.

Suddenly, Alicia realized a new mystery had just surfaced right in front of her.

And Jett might be the key to figuring it all out.

After Alicia finished checking Nicolas’s pulse, her face grew serious.

Diana couldn’t help but ask, “Ally, how’s Nicolas doing?”

Alicia replied, “Honestly, it’s a good thing he didn’t come into contact with Nicole. Otherwise. he’d be completely done for.

“The drug Nicole gave him is meant to target women.

“If a woman takes it and then sleeps with someone, she’ll never be able to have kids again.

‘Whatever it takes, I’m going to track down whoever did this,’ she vowed, her eyes flashing with resolve.

Caleb blurted out, “So Nicolas can’t ever have a family or kids now?”

Alicia glanced at him. “He can still be with women if he wants-the drug doesn’t affect his ability as a man. He just can’t have kids, that’s all.”

But being unable to have children is what really hits the Moore family hard.

After all, Nicolas was the Moore family’s only heir-the one they’d been grooming since he was little to take over everything.

Even though Nicolas had been acting out and playing around in showbiz these past few years, he’d still been learning how to run the company.

Once he left the entertainment world, he was supposed to take over Moore Group for real.

But now that he can’t have kids, who’s going to carry on the Moore family legacy?

Sure enough, when the Moore couple heard the news, they looked like they’d just been punched in the gut.

Diana was so mad she could’ve ripped Nicole to shreds.

But right now, all she cared about was her son. “Ally, Nicolas looks really bad. Can you help him?”

Alicia nodded. “Yeah, I can help.

“For his situation, a little bloodletting should do the trick.

“The drug’s effects are almost gone, but since his system hasn’t had a chance to purge it, it’s all backed up inside, messing him up.”

She whipped out a long needle, grabbed Nicolas’s hand, and pierced each of his fingertips one by one.

Once she’d jabbed all ten fingers, she held a bottle underneath, letting the blood flow in until she’d collected a decent amount.
