Alicia had already joined the crew for filming.

That day, after finishing her scenes, Alicia and Landon asked for leave and returned to Irisport.

As they made their way through the airport’s underground parking lot, they were almost at the spot they’d agreed to meet.

They spotted Jason, dressed in a light gray trench coat, tall and impossibly handsome, leaning casually against the car door.

‘The legend is back on his feet, and he’s got that vibe again, Alicia thought to herself.

Her eyes shone with amusement as she walked over. “Mr. Farrell, you look amazing today!”

Jason let out a low chuckle. “All thanks to Dr. Delaney.”

He opened the car door for her. “Get in.”

After Alicia got in, he closed the door, walked around to the other side, and slid into the seat next to her, like it was the most natural thing in the world.

The driver started the car and pulled out of the parking lot.

Alicia took off her hat and mask. “Did you tell anyone you can walk again?”

Jason replied, “Not yet. I even made a show of using the wheelchair when I went out today.

“The Campbell family is hosting a party the day after tomorrow. I’m planning to walk right

in.”

Alicia grinned. “Will the Farrell family be there?”

Jason nodded. “Yeah, I’m going to give them a real surprise.”

He asked, “Are you in a rush to get back? If not, want to be my plus one?”

Alicia said, “Sure, I’ll have Landon shoot the other scenes first.”

She’d rushed back this time not just to check on Jason, now able to walk again, but also to finally meet the miracle doctor who had just appeared.

In the past few days, Jett managed to get in touch with him, and he even came to Irisport.

She asked, “Did the miracle doctor go to see Nicolas?”

Jason replied, “Yeah, he did. He said he could cure Nicolas.”

Alicia raised an eyebrow. “That simple?”

The side effects from that drug Nicolas took aren’t so easy to cure.

Unless the miracle doctor had been holding something back all along.

But she doubted the doctor would just help Nicolas out of kindness.

Jason chuckled. “The miracle doctor said since Nicolas ended up taking his prescription, it was destiny. So he made a request before agreeing to treat him.”

Alicia asked, “Let me guess, he wants Nicolas to marry Nicole?”

“Guess Leo is still totally wrapped around his precious stepdaughter’s finger,” she said.

Her former father had tried to get her to visit him in the hospital through his assistant before, but she just ignored it.

Thinking of that, she asked, “Did Nicole ask that miracle doctor to treat my ex-dad?”

Jason looked surprised. “Wow, you really saw that coming, Alicia!”

Alicia chuckled. “Looks like his insomnia finally cleared up.”

No wonder he’s always lecturing his son and bending over backwards for his stepdaughter.

“But do you really think that miracle doctor’s just helping him out of kindness?” she asked.

She had her doubts about that.

Jason said, “He doesn’t know any of that. He still trusts Nicole and her mom, so of course he let the miracle doctor treat him without a second thought.

“As for whether the doctor’s got any bad intentions, who knows.
