Rising From Betrayal Reborn As The Family Outcast (Alicia Delaney) novel Chapter 257

Chapter 257

Chapter 257

Diana saw Alicia and Jason out.

She watched as Jason thoughtfully opened the car door for Alicia before heading to the driver’s seat and driving off.

She let out a heavy sigh.

Back in the living room, she couldn’t help but say, “Jason’s definitely into Alicia.

“Those two might end up together someday.”

Alicia always knew how to keep her boundaries. If she didn’t want Jason getting close, she wouldn’t be going out with him all the time.

Back when she and Nicolas were close, she never spent time with any other men.

Nicolas couldn’t help but clench his jaw. “Jason’s just taking advantage of the situation.”

If they hadn’t had a falling out with Alicia, Jason wouldn’t even have a chance.

He really never noticed it before-Jason actually had feelings for Alicia.

What really stung for Nicolas was that Alicia wasn’t stopping Jason from getting close-she was basically giving him the green light.

Back in the day, aside from her family, Nicolas was the only one who ever got to be that close

to her.

Diana gave him a look of pure annoyance. “That’s your own fault for not stepping up. Jason just knows how to make the most of his chances.

“You made your bed, now you have to lie in it-even if you end up crying and begging, you still have to deal with it.”

She’d always believed it was Nicolas’s fault that he and Alicia fell out.

So she couldn’t blame Alicia for it.

Still, she couldn’t help but feel sorry about losing such a great daughter-in-law.

Oh well, that’s just how life goes. Nicolas brought this on himself with all his drama.

Nicolas was left speechless. That was his mom for you-always finding a way to twist the knife.

He just fell silent.

Alicia didn’t head back to the set. She decided to stay in Irisport a little longer and see how the drama would unfold before leaving.

The next day.

A man claiming to be Mavis’s husband created a short video account.

He posted a long video on the most popular video app.

He looked completely wrecked-disheveled, exhausted, his eyes red and burning with anger.

“Mavis, you and that shameless pair have already forced me to run away to another city, so why won’t you just leave me alone?” he shouted.

“You guys have seriously crossed the line, so I’m done keeping quiet.

“Even if the Hammond family is crazy powerful and Leo could wipe me out in a heartbeat, I’m still going to expose who you really are.

I did hit them, and I know that was messed up.

“But I just couldn’t take it anymore. After I found Mavis’s diary, I went behind their backs and got a DNA test.

“Turns out Nicole’s not even my kid. We’re not related at all.”

He picked up the old paternity test he’d done back then. The pages were yellowed with age, but you could still clearly see the date and the results.

“Mavis tricked me into raising a kid that wasn’t even mine, spent my money on someone else’s child, and even set me up to ruin me. I only hit them because I just couldn’t take it

anymore.

“I’m only coming forward now because I’ve been pushed to the edge-I’ve got nothing left to lose, so I’m not afraid anymore.

“I swear, the diaries and the paternity test are all real. I’ve made tons of copies.

“I’ve also taken pictures of everything and uploaded them in other videos, too.

“If you want to see them, just drop a comment or message me your address—I’ll mail them out. Feel free to check if they’re legit yourself.

“Leo, just let me go, please. If you keep pushing me, who knows what I might do.”

He bent down toward the camera. “And everyone, be my witness-just know, if I suddenly end up dead in some freak accident, it’s gotta be those two who did it.”
