Chapter 260
Chapter 260
“And Mavis was never my side piece. I only married her after my wife died-before that. there was nothing between us.”
The shareholder shot him a look that screamed, “Yeah, right.
“Come on, Leo, if Nicole’s not your real daughter, then whose kid is she?
“You even pushed your own daughter to cut you off, all for this so-called stepdaughter.
“Back then, nobody could figure out why you’d choose someone who wasn’t even related to you over your own kid.
“But now that we know you two are actually related, it all adds up.”
Leo’s face turned even darker. “Beats me whose kid she is, but she’s definitely not mine.
“Let me make this clear one last time: Nicole is not my biological daughter.”

The shareholder snorted. “Say what you will about Chairman Hayes-he might be a scumbag, but at least he owns up to his mess. You, Leo, do the deed but don’t have the guts to admit it. Makes you look even worse.”
Everyone knew Chairman Hayes always had a string of women around him—even swapped his real son for a love child with his mistress. Total scumbag, no doubt.
And besides those two sons, he’s got plenty of other secret kids on the side.
But he never tried to hide it-he was shameless and proud of it.
Leo, though, was the golden boy of the business world. Two marriages, never a single scandal with other women.
Never a single rumor about secret kids, either.
But for a guy like that, when the bomb finally dropped, it was a big one.
Turns out he did have a secret daughter-just hid her way too well.
That kind of sarcasm gave Leo a splitting headache.
‘Why won’t anyone believe me? Mavis and I were completely innocent back then!’ he thought, frustrated.
He pointed at the door. “Believe whatever you want. The door’s right there.”
The shareholder gave him a contemptuous look and left without another word.

Chapter 260
Everyone in the company chat was buzzing about it.
No one ever thought Leo would do something this shady behind closed doors.
The diary and the paternity test were just way too convincing.
Especially since Nicole did that whole secret crush diary thing on X-looks like she picked it up from her mom.
Only difference is, Mavis got her happy ending, but Nicole didn’t.
