Sacrificed To The Triplet Alpha Kings novel Chapter 142

Chapter 142: You Are Our Mate, Lilith

Finn’s knock came at her door just as the afternoon light shifted golden through the narrow window. Lilith was sitting on the edge of her bed, staring at nothing, when the sound pulled her back to the present. Her heart jumped before she could stop it.

"Come in," she called, her voice steadier than she felt.

Finn opened the door, his professional demeanor intact, his expression revealing nothing of what was about to happen. He was tall, broad-shouldered, with the easy confidence of someone who’d spent years serving an alpha. His dark eyes met hers with respect, but there was something else there too—something that felt like gravity.

"Alpha Nicholas requests your presence in his room," Finn said. The formality of it was suffocating. The inevitability of it was worse.

Lilith’s stomach dropped. She stood on legs that felt uncertain, smoothing her hands down her dress out of habit rather than necessity. "Now?" she asked, though she already knew the answer.

"Now," Finn confirmed.

The walk through the Blackwood quarters felt longer than it should have. Every corridor was lined with polished wood and soft lighting, the luxury of it almost mocking her. Her mind spun with questions she couldn’t answer. Why was Nicholas summoning her now? What did he want? The pull—that inexplicable, constant pull that had been driving her insane since the brothers arrived—grew stronger with each step. By the time they reached his door, her heart was racing. Her hands trembled slightly at her sides.

Finn knocked once, a sharp sound that echoed down the hallway. From inside, Nicholas’s voice was immediate: "Enter."

The door opened. Lilith stepped inside.

All three brothers were present, and the sight of them hit her like a physical force. Nicholas sat in a high-backed chair near the window, his silver eyes already locked on her. He didn’t move. Sebastian stood near the far wall, his dark eyes tracking her every step with an intensity that made her breath catch. Lucian sprawled on the sofa, his gold eyes gleaming with something feral, something hungry, something that made her instinctively want to run.

The tension in the room was suffocating. She could feel the weight of whatever was about to happen pressing down on her chest, making it hard to breathe. The door closed softly behind her. She was alone with them now.

"Lilith," Nicholas said, his voice calm and controlled. "We have something important to talk to you about."

She tried to sound steady, but her voice wavered. "What is it, Alpha?"

She stood in the center of the room, trapped by their presence. There was nowhere to go. Nowhere to hide. Just three alphas and whatever truth they were about to deliver.

Sebastian stood from where he’d been leaning against the wall. He moved toward her with deliberate slowness, each step measured and purposeful. His dark eyes never left hers. When he reached her, he raised his hand slowly. His palm was warm against her chin as he cupped her face gently, tilting her head up to meet his gaze.

His touch was warm. Possessive. Certain in a way that made her entire body respond without permission.
