Scarlett’s POV
“She’s on her way.” Lucian finally said after linking Elss. I stayed quier, letting the silence Enger. Lorian robe and poured horself a do careful, almost tentative.
“When was the last time any of you spoke with David?” I asked, breaking the silence.
Maxwell answered, “It’s been a month now. He called, asking for warriors and ammunition for the Beth. We’re dividing our forces, trying to sept far fans need.”
“Against Garland?” I asked, and Maxwell nodded.
“It seems your father was the one keeping the balance there,” he added, and I caught a glint of fame in his eyes. But I’d cree to terms
past, thanks to Keith, and had even begun to appreciate the weight of his legacy. Still, Maxwell’s words stirred something in me..
“You’ll do no such thing.” I replied firmly.
Maxwell frowned, confused. “Scarlett, you can’t hold the South without warriors and weapons. Garland is ruthless. Even if you have magic, you haven’ mastered it. You’ll need support to rule.”
I could see the concern etched on his face; they were still under the impression that I was planning to head south.
I was about to clarify when a woman entered the room. She looked to be middle-aged, with striking silver-white hair and piercing frosty blue eyes. Around her neck hung a crystal pendant, encased in leather she’d clearly crafted herself. Her aura was steady, calm, exuding warmth, yet her presence carried a quiet strength.
Her gentle smile was inviting, and I felt a strange sense of peace in her presence. This was Elsa, the seer, and just seeing her brought a sense of anticipation, as if somehow she held answers I didn’t yet know I needed.
“Good morning, Scarlett,” she said, her voice soft but full of clarity. “I hear you’ve had quite an encounter with visions.”
“Luna Scarlett Vladislav,” Elsa greeted me with a warm, respectful smile. Her voice was soothing yet held a quiet authority. “I am Elsa Moonchild, the seer of
the North.”
“Nice to meet you, Seer Elsa,” I replied, returning her smile.
She chuckled softly, then sat beside me, taking my hand with a gentle firmness. Her gaze shifted to the others in the room, her expression lightening with a
touch of humor.
“I see you haven’t quite forgiven your mates yet,” she teased, her eyes twinkling with warmth. I opened my mouth to respond, but she carried on before I could speak.
She closed her eyes, taking a deep breath, her expression turning serious as she focused on me.
“Your aura… it’s strong, intense, almost overpowering.” Her brows furrowed as she studied me, her hand gripping mine a bit tighter.
“This magic you carry, Scarlett, it’s ancient and powerful. There are five core elements of magic-wind, earth, fire, water, and spirit. You carry all five.”

She took a slow breath, holding my Kands tighter as if grounding me. Per next words were almost a whisper. “Ancient yet real, one for phrase felt cryptic, laden with a mesning I couldn’t quite grasp.
Seeing my confusion, Elsa smiled gently. “Your father, Nikolay… he knew Alisson, the seer of the South, foretold that you would be very special, and he end what he could to protect you. That’s why he kept you hidden, why he showed you such.. indifference. People saw him as cold, but he knew the dangers. He understood that the very ones who hated him might use you to get to him. Your father was a hard man,” she said, a hint of admiration in her eyes. “but he did it all to keep you safe.”
Her words settled over me, like pieces of a puzzle I hadn’t realized I’d been trying to solve.
“I just returned from the South because I needed to learn more about your father,” Elsa began, and I felt a warmth settle over me. It was comforting to ko
she had something positive to share about him, something that would fill in the gaps I’d always wondered about.
“Your magic,” she continued, “has the ability to borrow and learn from others, and you’ve absorbed quite a bit of Keith’s ability and clarity in magic. That’s why you’ve been experiencing visions-they’re his gift.” Her explanation made sense. Keith had mentioned that his visions were unique, and now I understood why I’d begun to see things in such vivid, unsettling ways.
