Chapter 64
Olivia felt sad, but she didn’t let herself sink into it,
She offered a faint smile as a greeting.
Wendy stepped in front of her, blocking her path.
“Olivia, the spending level here is very high. You’re not qualified to come in anymore. Security will throw you out the moment they see how you’re dressed.”
In that instant, Olivia saw her former friend clearly.
When she had money, Wendy couldn’t wait to befriend
her.
When she didn’t, Wendy was the first to step on her.
“Whether I’m qualified to enter isn’t for you to decide,” Olivia replied calmly.
Sarah Langford, Wendy’s mother, let out a cold laugh. “Olivia, you need to recognize your position. You’re no longer in the same class as us. Places like this aren’t for people like you. Do you know what a class divide is?” 15:37

Alice covered her mouth and laughed, “She doesn’t know yet. She’ll understand soon enough.”
Sarah nodded in agreement. “Some people need
generations of effort to enter high society, but leaving it only takes one foolish mother.”
They all surrounded Olivia, laughing loudly.
Olivia looked at their smug faces, anger and grievance twisting in her chest.
Her hands clenched tightly. She bit her lip, forcing herself
not to cry.
No matter how composed she was, she was still a child. Such humiliation was more than she could easily
withstand.
They stood above her, emphasizing class and status
without restraint.
Sarah said, “The fact that we’re even talking to you is already generosity.”

Alice added, “Olivia, this is just the beginning. You’ll face more unfairness and class divisions in the future. Learn
to accept it. If you can’t, blame your mother. There’s no one else to blame.”
A stern voice suddenly rang out from outside the circle./
“Class? Please. All your ancestors were born commoners. And here you are, barking at a little girl.”
Olivia peered through the gap.
An elderly woman walked toward them, her silver hair neatly arranged, her steps steady and powerful.
Olivia didn’t know who she was.
The elderly woman entered the center of the group.
Alice and Sarah exchanged a glance before speaking almost in unison, “Madam Ferrer.”
Susan Ferrer grasped Olivia’s wrist and pulled her out of
the hostile circle.
Alice forced a stiff smile. “Madam Ferrer, my nięce is 377

ignorant. Please don’t take offense.”
Susan was the mother of Bradley, who was a partner of the Frost family.
They all moved within the same social circle. Naturally,/ they had to show her respect.
“I see ignorance on your part,” Susan said coldly. “She is your brother’s biological daughter. Divorce doesn’t erase blood. You’re her aunt. How can you join outsiders to bully your own niece?”
“I was just educating her to be grateful,” Alice protested weakly.
Susan snorted, “You’re only able to act arrogant here because of your brother. If he falls one day, would you want others to treat you the same way?”
Alice fell silent.
Susan scolded her without mercy, then led Olivia into Skyline Tower.
Alice and Sarah were left utterly confused. 4/7

The families were on good terms. Alice’s mother, Stephanie, even invited these elders over for afternoon treats from time to time.
Why had Susan suddenly lost her temper and defended Olivia?
Alice, still baffled, immediately called Killian.
Killian rubbed his temples helplessly.
“Alice, Madam Ferrer isn’t wrong. No matter what, you’re her aunt. You shouldn’t bully your niece. She’s my daughter.”
“Fine, fine. I get it,” Alice replied, outwardly agreeable but inwardly resentful. She could always humiliate Calista next time instead.
Alice complained, “I was just standing up for you. Who knew Madam Ferrer would react like that? It’s
ridiculous.”
Killian’s headache worsened. “She helped Olivia partly for my sake and partly for the Frost family. Don’t overthink
